YES!!! The two are so powerful together and just thinking about it makes me really happy. But Hae-In is also going to be with Hye-Yoon in the drama and I also find the pairing really powerful--their acting skills! Just don't forget that Hye-Yoon's also the female lead along with Jisoo. EDIT: and Seung-Jo!!!

I'm so sorry. The way I worded that sentence was wrong. I don't think that IU has a mediocre face. She's a beautiful woman inside and out; it's just that I'm tired of people wanting idols to play Jugyeong JUST because of their god-like looks/popularity and not their acting capability to play the role. IU had penalty of acting experience (Hotel Del Luna, Scarlet Heart, etc..) and her ethereal visual is out of this world. That's why I suggested her to play as Jugyeong. Once again, I'm sorry if I offended you.
Is it bad that I kinda want her to be casted as Jugyeong from "True Beauty" for the drama adaption? I genuinely think she can pull off Jugyeong's role with her superb acting.

I know some people are going to disagree with me, saying Jisoo is the perfect Jugyeong, but I would want someone who can pull of Jugyeong's personality and actions rather than just looks alone. Korean makeup artists are insanely good these days and I am sure that they can change an average looking person to a whole different person. So maybe Kim Hye-Yoon or IU? EDIT: I don't mean that IU or Hye-Yoon are average looking. I think they're absolutely pretty!
Appearances? The drama is about someone who has a mediocre face to begin with and transforms into a stunning woman with makeup, not that I'm saying Jugyeong is ugly. I really want to see how the drama showcases makeup and inner beuaty, just like how the webtoon does. Jisoo is already beautiful to begin with and I don't really think she suits the role. If she gets casted, then that's great! Don't attack me please.
I just hope that IF an actress is casted and it's not Jisoo, I don't want BLINKS to attack that poor actress. I heard that their fandom is pretty toxic and I fear that whoever's casted who isn't Jisoo, it's gonna be messy.
➡ Jisoo BP (1995) - Literal goddess but most likely not able to act because of YG >:( ➡ IU (1993) - Looks young for her age, acting is pretty good (Hotel Del Luna), a gorgeous queen. ➡ Kim Hye Yoon (1996) - Superb acting, really shippable, and an underrated visual ➡ Kim Yoojung (1999) - Has the energy of Jugyeong and is absolutely beautiful. ➡ Kim Sohyun (1999) - Great acting, pretty/delicate visuals, and a well-known actress ➡ Kim Saeron (2000)- Young, acting is good, and her looks are soft and pretty.
I picked more actresses than K-Pop idols because I think roles should be picked based on talent and not always on looks. :)
i’ve been waiting for this drama for a LONG time that i’m just getting impatient. Gong Seungyeon would be the perfect Doh Gayoung in my opinion. Both have unique brown eyes and have a outgoing personality (?)
