Thank you for this! I can understand Chinese so I can watch it without subs but I can't read. I would have never been able to read people's comments to figure all this out! And I didn't even know there was something at the end of the credits on episode 11. I'n shocked. What an amazing drama. Hopefully someone will translate the novel so I can read the novel as well! Like some other comments, I enjoyed it in the beginning as well. As time went on, I started to root for Austin Lin's character, dong fang shi a lot more. I came for Vin Zhang but Austin's character def captured my heart. I would not have finished this drama if it was not for him. His chemistry is a lot stronger with Ariel than Vin Zhang. I agree with others that the shine chen yu had in the beginning shifted to dong fang shi in the later half. The plot was also boring at some parts... I watched with 2x speed on. I would still recommend because of Austin( only because of him and maybe the 2 OSTS but don't have high expectations) but I def knocked the rating down due to the ending which was a huge disappointment. Not only are the main leads' ending a disappointment, many other side characters had endings that were subpar. The last episode was so ridiculous I started laughing at parts that weren't meant to be funny.

I feel like it's more of what others will say to her parents or say behind her parents' backs. In Chinese societies, people's "faces" or the reputation is very important. I feel like FL thinks she shouldn't be selfish and do what she wants because her parents will get hurt and "lose face." When the gossipy Wang auntie's son (from their building) dated a 10+ older woman, it was the talk of the building and everyone still remembers it now and gossips about it. I was wondering if anyone else was feeling this way! I have watched almost all of Xing Zhao Lin's dramas and am a major fan but I thought it was kinda boring as well... Watched up to ep 30 and I watched most sped up. Not sure if I should continue
