The trailer sounded so exciting. Two fathers who fall in love because they used to be a couple. They essentially start a family together and slowly fall in love again. But the series itself... the script is so disappointing. It´s so boring, sadly.
The novel is more grown up and wilder and much more dramatic. And they´re playing hide an seek with their relationship and shocking everyone with their dating news. The series is so slow and light. And they really ruined the future part. It was so cool seeing them grown up as adult men. And I don´t mean the optic more like the charakter development itselfe.

I thought he was just continuing to work part-time for his uncle. But he's also working for the band, filming their music videos, etc. They need some money to make ends meet.
I somehow expected more. The script was bad, with so many illogical plot points (no bodyguards in front of the house, the house is open to the public, no police investigation, a fisherman's boy is chosen as protector). The pacing was often odd. A lot of things were artificially drawn out, and other important details were skipped. The acting was so-so. Often the same look, whether angry or in love. Why they fall in love isn't really explored either. It's a shame, it had so much more potential. Luckily, Me and Thee looks much better, and I'm looking forward to seeing the two of them in the new series.
I hate Ming so so so much. Not only is he manipulative and abuses Joe, he's also violent, he beats him and he beats women. I don't think I've ever hated a character so much.
