I heard this show has some depiction sexual assault.. I am extremely uncomfortable with this kind of stuff and get easily triggered. so i wanna know who this happens to (as in which character) and how much impact that it has overall to the show i mean is this something that show keeps bringing up all the time and how graphic it is. I really wanna watch this show but if any of these is true then i'll skip it.

English is not my first language but i am pretty fluent in it. I live in English speaking country after all But i think problem here is the lousy translation. Well mandarin is complicated language with lots of idioms and proverbs which does not translate well into English specially with this type of historical fiction drama that has lot of these "proverbs".

I watched the first episode and the production quality as well as cinematography looks good and very promising but i am having hard time following the storyline and subtitles aren't helping much. Thanks for the reply though.

Calling me arrogant is a little bit hypocrite don't you think. Everybody is entitled to there own opinion. My intention of writing this comment was to know what everybody thought of the show and it seemed like fare bit of people agree with me here. Before calling me "arrogant" you should at least have a basic etiquette and manners.
"I am not western" i can't i believe i have to explain common sense to people - You don't need to be western to have western lenses you clearly are someone who is conditioned by the these western ideologies. Because make no mistake these are western ideologies. no country in asia has these believes yes there might be small amount of people who have this ideologies but they are in minority.
Secondly i have never said any thing about right or wrong, i never said what Korea is doing is good or bad. You are so consumed within your own sense of justice. that you didn't understand a single thing i tried to say. so i'll say it again " My point is even if a country has certain societal belief that you may not agree upon that doesn't give you the rights to belittle them." again to make it super clear to you i am not saying what they are doing is right or wrong i am simply saying its not your place to judge them at all. it's like the saying "don't put your nose where it doesn't belong".

You simply cannot judge another country's beliefs and society with your western lenses. This is what causing this massive political unrest throughout the world every country in the world is being measured against the western standards. Just take the example of "Uganda".
