at first i didnt really take much attention to it but after re-watching i kind of having suspicion toward ling buyi. was he eavesdropping? or was he a part of the scheme being discussed at the tower? the relationship chart says that ling buyi and the third prince is "buddies/ good friend". but in these 24 eps we still didnt really see how these two are 'good' friend yet. one thing we can be sure of is that the fact the third prince is so against the current crown prince. the hints being the broken jade and the horse. at first i thought it was just a typical drama logic and let it pass, but what if lby was already on the top floor? he was ready to k1ll the eavesdropper. but when he got the broken jade, he knew it was shaoshang, thus proceed to play the hero saving the damsel in distress. and the horse was in the main way to get to the tower!! for sure they'd see it tied right there.
we have yet to see the complicated part of the drama but this one is just stressing me out lolol. if its all true then isn't he just cunning and scary...
