It might be unfair because I've only seen her in one series where she played a teacher at a cooking school, or it might be no chemistry between her and the lead actor. I found it difficult to watch Allison Lin basically mug for the camera. A fake looking smile and that delay you often see in American sitcoms where actors say a line supposed to be funny and freeze or a second to wait for the laugh. The whole cooking school show was pretty contrived, so maybe not all her fault, but the male lead was very good and she came off as very bad.
