Sorry but I can't agree to disagree about homophobia, which you are showing. You do prefer Cake because you think he is superior to Eiw. Otherwise you wouldn't have emphasised "EQUAL" whilst writing about a character's personality. I don't need to assume anything because it's written in your review, you think Eiw is inferior and a nuisance to the acceptance of gays.
You can think whatever you want but don't lie to yourself like you are somehow progressive and moving "gay acceptance" forward while literally critiquing the existence and portrayal of a type of gay person. There is no exaggerating , their are all types of gay people just like straight people and their will be boys who are "wimpy and weak" but their existence is NOT the reason why gays are not accepted. It doesn't matter if they are gay or straight, boy or girl because it's still children. and their is nothing wrong or harmful about a child being different, introverted and socially awkward.

There is nothing wrong with boys that are softer and more sensitive, them existing is why the G in the LGBTQ+ have more rights. So to say their representation is backwards progression is the really cruel and untrue.

I did really enjoy it, ending was bittersweet but I still feel satisfied with the ending. I wasn't lacking that sense of closure you get with some bad or sad endings, it felt like "that's life" and it ended with a good relationship.
This is pure exaggeration she's a plane actress nothing great about her acting and doesn't compare to real kdrama…
From the shows I've seen from both, Nana's acting is much more believable and dynamic. Also Nana's hit the floor running being a great actress, IU on the other hand looked stiff and cliche, so much so, that although I think she is so pretty I stopped looking forward to her new dramas. Maybe IU has improved but I don't believe for a second she is better than Nana.
This movie was a trip! However, I did really really like it. Something about it worked for me and so I do recommend checking it out to see if you like it.
