i think theres smth everyone is missing here. if theres anyone who lived with a relative during holidays youll get it. she is not being a mom to yang yang. no mom is sugary sweet to her daughter 24/7. she is her guardian, more specifically one not even related to her by blood. her responsibily for yang yang is alot higher than css because yy is someone else's daughter and both her parents are missing. she is not like yy's mom who neglected css.

i think css did finally get that her mom didnt have it easy all this time but it doesnt really change the fact that absolutely no motherly love was shown to css once she returned. css is very sensitive and constantly seeing how different she acts towards her and yang yang is bound to create a divide. i do hope that the engagement falling out and her mother being right will help them talk more
