I've been putting this on hold for so long and couldn't even watch two episodes because the female lead was too pushy and doesn't know where her boundaries are. I have social anxiety similarly to the male lead so she really annoyed me and triggered the hell out of me. I also thought the staff of silent monster or whatever were very oblivious and rude, and were not trying to be understanding or helpful whatsoever. But after I pushed myself to watch it, I finally started to enjoy it because I can really relate with Hwan Gi's character and he's the only reason I've been enjoying this drama and looking forward to watching more episodes.

I agree she is a really good actress and she is also popular, but saying that "she is the most popular and talented actress to ever exist" is an exaggeration. She is really popular but not the most popular, she is talented but not the most talented person to ever exist. I guess your annoyance at the comment got you to make this exaggeration.

Actually I already watched ReminderS which is a mix of Love by Chance and Love Sick. Other people don't think its a spinoff of Love by Chance since the directors said its not and changed their names, but it had the same couple of Love by Chance and its side characters and they had the same life with the exemption of changing the roles in the relationship and their names (which makes sense since its kinda weird that the shorter one was shown as the dominant). I also understand why that could be because the writer of the novel filed a lawsuit because they used her story without her permission so its kinda illegal to use their original story names, which is why they could have suddenly changed their names and while they're at it, changed their relationship roles. Not to mention that it not only had one couple from Love by Chance but two. (This is too much for it to be a coinsidence but you're free to disagree)

Do you mean this drama? I actually just saw the trailer last night because mydramalist randomly showed it to me and I liked it but I noticed some kinda bromance and also fighting going on, whether it was just friendship or a gay relationship I still hate tragedy (seems like its not tragic). And somehow I looked at the comments which mentioned that this was based on a gay novel, I like reading novels. Even though the drama just shows bromance, I'll still watch it as I start reading the novel (I usually do that for every Chinese drama based on novels whether they are censored or not). I'll start reading the novel and watching the drama tonight or sometime this week.

Wow seems like we think similarly, I also thought that Love By Chance got a bigger hype than it really was worth. I guess no one really criticized Love By Chance was because that specific 'bad act' (if you know what I mean) was randomly done at the end of the series that could be missed by the blink of an eye. Now I kinda understand why this series was liked, maybe because it supported change of bad actions in relationships and showing the characters trying to take the good actions instead, I didn't think about it that way before lol

Another reason it may have got fans to have a high hype for it is because of the actors, I know some of the actors from other series and I like them but that still is not enough to make me make a blind judgement. Actually I don't really care anymore, the series is already over and I finished it so I'll soon forget about all these details.
This is so overrated, I finally pulled myself to finish it. I guess BL fans don't have much load of BL series lately so they're excited for any new gay drama. The story is nice, yes, I even read the novel but I have to admit that this drama wasn't the best. It was so overly dramatic, so much crying in every episode that even the most tragic Korean drama would have way much less crying. It's just a school crush, and they're acting like they'd die without their crush, dramatically getting into incidents that make them bleed dramatically over small stuff like an innocent kiss. Not to mention all the advertisements, there would be what seems to be a serious scene until they start advertising something instead. It was like a long dramatic advertisement. To be honest I cringed so much watching this and had my ass laughing thought simply because of how absurd i thought it was even when they're crying or getting injured which makes me laugh even more. Don't get me wrong, I'm someone who gives a lot of slack and I don't require things to be perfect which is why I got myself to finish this and even rated it a 7, but I can't deny the fact its really overrated and dramatic. There are much better BL series that are way underrated compared to this which makes me kinda sad but it is how it is, can't do anything about it.. Anyways, forgetting about all the advertising in the drama, I liked how they wrapped it up. As a college student, I like how Thailand keeps making series with college students, especially since I'm an Art major and currently taking a photography class so I kinda enjoyed it for that part too.
