It doesn't even feel like they're acting. It feels more like the audience is present during a real life couple's emotional or romantic moments. When they cry, I cry and when they laugh, I laugh. One of the best romance dramas I have ever seen.
I'll be honest, it was really slow and not much happened but I still really liked it. It's about Kotera, her passion…
Is it me but watching Kotera just quietly lean onto Kondo felt really intimate for some reason? I felt like I was intruding on a private moment lol, they have chemistry imo I don't what that last scene signifies but at least going by the end credits, I guess Kondo and Kotera become friends if not a couple? Also, I hope Youjou and his gf are happy together!
I'll be honest, it was really slow and not much happened but I still really liked it. It's about Kotera, her passion and dedication, and how it inspires some of her fellow students to be passionate about their interests and lives. The movie just felt *warm* and had a pleasant vibe overall and I loved all the character interactions. I loved seeing Kondo and Youjou grow as people: Kondo who was just sort of checked out from existence finding meaning in his life and Youjou, the shy, bullied kid, getting confident, and finding friends and love!
This movie won't be for everyone, since some find it boring. Plus, the description implies romance but there's not much at all. Still, I would recommend it to people who just a quiet, pleasant watch on a drowsy Saturday. 8.0/10 for me and thanks to Rjgmansubs for this movie!
