It all started on April 30, 2012, when my sister bought me a DVD of 1 Liter of Tears.
I was actually expecting a K-drama because Korean dramas were the trend on television back then. I watched it without many expectations... and finished it with swollen eyes. That's when my perspective on life began to change.
I also tried watching Taiwanese, Chinese, Thai, and Korean dramas, but none of them could match the feelings that Japanese doramas leave me with every time. Now, I can't find a way out. I'm definitely cursed. 😂
I don't really look for perfect visuals or acting. The lessons I can learn from watching are all that matter to me. The genres I watch most are slice of life, family, medical, rom-com, and melodrama.
