just because it's not malicious doesn't mean it's not abusive, regardless of culture. I'm Indian and hitting children is very commonplace in our society, that doesn't make it OK. i also was very uncomfortable with those scenes.

The mystery was genuinely interesting but the villain's motivation was underdeveloped. The humour was top tier, but we saw less of it as time went on.
