Like, if my dad called me out of nowhere and told me that I have to abandon my entire life and flee to a diff country and the reason being some vague danger.... I would be a little bit reluctant and maybe ask a few questions!Like this guy's sister has friends and goes to uni in Korea... His mom has friends and family in Korea... And just based on some random woman's warnings they're willing to leave?

Like, I actually burst into tears when Dr. Racoon comes to Dr. Fox's funeral. And Dr. Fox was such a lucky man to be loved by so many people, from the hospital staff to the people of the town... Both of them are such adorable old men too.

I don't understand how people can watch this and think Kurihari is just a whiny complainer. He is a doctor who always goes above and beyond for the welfare and happiness of his patients, friends and family, sometimes even putting his job on the line. If I get sick, I hope I get a doctor like him (and the nurses and staff of Honjo Hospital)!

Ep. 1 and 3 were the best; I feel like the episodes should have been longer too, especially the last one. Cause the interior designer isn't really interested in Taro, she just sees her husband in him. Plus, did she ever learn to be acceptive of her daughter's personality or does she still think of her own child as abnormal and scary? That could have been explored more. Poor Izumi, she didn't deserve to be dumped, she was so caring towards him...
This drama had no right being this good! Seriously, this could be the gold standard for manga's LA adaptations! Creepy, scary, weird, funny but always interesting, this drama also had amazing acting and production value. The music really added to the atmosphere too. 9.5/10 from me. This and Youkai Sharehouse reminded me of Douglas Adams' surrealist, comedic aspects, and that's always a good thing.
