Lowkey not liking these last few episodes but only bc of how much pain the characters are going thru and bc Kanae…
that's very valid. Hibiki has no romantic interest whatsoever in Kanae but I can't stop shipping them anyways ig. It's just that I feel like Kurumi x Hibiki just doesn't work either. I see them more as enemies than lovers at this point, people who have done very unforgivable things to each other.
And it just seems like the writers are really playing up the melodrama
This drama was so good, I'm thankful to the subber for making this available to us. The acting, the writing, the characters were all amazing, and there were so many pretty shots of the rural landscape. An amazing slice of life and it def sets the bar high for other medical dramas. 9/10 from me.
Ep. 4: wasn't that impressed with this episode, tbh. It was still good but I wasn't that emotionally involved (though the end made me tear up a little bit ofc), but that's probably bc Kurihara didn't have that much chemistry with the people at the new location.
Ep. 3: I thought Tozai and Kurihara were just flirting but man Tozai really loves him, huh? I'm not sure if she loves him as a friend or in a romantic sense, but that scene of her crying when he's about to leave Honjo Hospital was so moving. She sucks at goodbyes, huh?
