is it bad if I like this more than Silent? personally, I felt that that drama didn't really engage me that much. this drama though, I'm getting hit with all the feels and so emotionally affected. it's gonna be hard waiting for the rest of the episodes, even tho the story is so heavy.

Saionji-san wa Kaji wo Shinai… what an amazing first episode, I loved this. Came for a cute romcom about a woman who doesn’t do housework, stayed for the emotional story about gender roles, grief, single parenthood and the human condition. Especially hyped about the found family already coalescing…

Also, if I had a nickel for every time a woman this season suddenly got promoted to StepMom™️…
