it's just my personal opinion, but making the only gay character in the entire story - which is already rare in kdramas - a villain is kinda problematic lol

The plot twist (that we all saw coming) just felt a lil homophobic to me. In the year of our Lord 2023, the writers just said, "the killer was a evil gay man this whole time"!! And Doha, frankly, I'd be more offended with the fact that he killed your ex and framed you for 5 years... than with him being in love with you...

I feel like the show kinda sorta went off the rails. Like,,, an exploding car "cures" her of her abilities??? what??

and not Solhee confronting killers on her own, without her professional bodyguards, multiple times lol

but I must admit, the party scene was really cute and him telling off his mom was cathartic. the jealousy and oppa scene next week also seems adorable.

I just feel bad for Ji-suk. betrayed by a friend and murdered right after. and noone seems to think of her after, even her so called friend. if only Yebun had used at least one or two brain cells.

Hong-jo just cannot accept responsibility. You poisoned him with a love spell but you're angry at him for acting like a lovestruck kdrama cold CEO?

I think it's Sin-yu's destiny to be groped by sensual hands. Hmm, but Red Hand acts suspiciously similar to Hong-jo Hand. Pyschic Grandma did mention the hand was connected to a woman who Sinyu wronged. Was Past Hongjoo betrayed by Past Sinyu? The drama may have forgotten this plot thread but Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I felt really bad for the SFL bc she's trying so hard and genuinely seems to want him. But seeing that highscool flashback... Most of my sympathy just evaporated. (Side note: both actresses pull off the high school look well? Usually when they do these flashbacks, the grown ass adults in school uniforms look so incongruous lmao)

The parents have such a happy marriage. Forget the fact that both prospective in-laws laughed at you, imagine your own husband demeaning and mocking you. But that doesn't seem to be the reason this queen wants a divorce 🤣 "I want to go see the toilet" who says romance is dead

Ik this week was trauma and angst time, but I didn't expect to be kinda bored tbh. It was just the worst possible ppl being, you guessed it, the worst.

Even when psycho bro was back at it again, the only reaction I had was "ugh, here he goes stabbing again 🙄" it'd be funny if he just stabbed a completely person, in a black comedy kinda way

I think a lot of the momentum was lost when they a) got together as a couple b) shared each other's tragic backstory. Imo it would have been better if this drama was 12 episodes and equally focused on Sol-hee's own adventures or something.

Praying for the day Sol-hee cuts off her mom 🙏 also for her poor dad to find himself a baddie and live in peace

Ok I admit, I laughed out loud when he was like, "don't make that face, it makes my heart flutter ... Dammit" AND THAT POUT ... AND 'DON'T GO 🥺🥺 '... I haven't laughed like this in a while. This is the best ep so far.

sis really needs to retire that thermos/bottle, it is such an agent of chaos. anyways, i found her cute before but - and i can't believe i'm saying this, I never have before - but the FL is kinda grating on me. i was legit surprised to see her be nice to the old ppl lol, I'm too used to her yelling and snapping at the ML.*

bro really brought up Shrek as an example, we have peaked as a society. i also called it from the start that the neighbour was gonna be the SML. things are gonna get so messy, I'm not rlly looking forward to it. this love-spell-induced, one-sided feelings thing can be funny only for so long.

shoutout to Ms. Ma. we love to see a rare supportive or at least impartial superior in the workplace. i also love how she strangerzoned that jerk. call that karma.

my three complaints about this drama: 1) no more love triangle (square?) pls, 2) is it a kdrama if there's no past live lovers trope, 3) BRING BACK OUR QUEEN MS. RED HAND

* I would also react the same way if I was being stalked by a love-crazed lawyer. maybe don't go spiking ppl's drinks with 'potions', no matter how lonely and desperate you are?
