Important Review Must Read!
I have not finished watching but I had to do the review beforehand. The United States movie "Signal" was nothing like this movie but it had to do with a murder case. This Kdrama and the American movie Signal are both great. The KDrama had more of a story to it which I so appreciate. Lee Je Hoon whose character Park Hae Yeong was very strong and convincing as a profiler. I need to see more with this actor. Kim Hye Soo who played Cha Soo Hyun was also a strong and compassionate emotional female detective, she was also doing a believable job. I will let you know the rest as I finish watching it. I have not skipped any episodes because it has me focused on them. Now the bad part.Important: I always research the actor's main lead and support.

Ending is not what you think, Please Read my Review
Now I see why everyone is crazy about Lee Min Ho... I loved the storyline but there was a glitch. There is only one small minimal thing I didn't like and it was the ending. Another cliffhanger left you wondering if he was alive or just an illusion. I hate those kinds of endings... No hug nor did he give her the ring. The writers did get me on one part and that is when the prosecutor died. Park Ming Young was great and another actress that showed her strength. This story wouldn't have happened without the other actors and actresses. Great job everyone even though this was back in 2011... I'm 8 years late in watching this.Because I mentioned that I didn't like the last few minutes of the ending. I had to research to see if anyone else felt the same as I did. I found a clip from the writer, please read it. I am happy that Na Na and Yoon Sung did reunite at the end. You writers need to stop making these sorts of endings.
ENDING COMMENT BY WRITER: "Lee Yoon Sung' (Lee Min Ho). In the final scene, Yoon Sung and 'Na Na' (played by Park Min Young) were reunited in a happy ending, but some viewers were left to believe that Yoon Sung was actually a ghostly figure. However, the producer, Kim Yong Sup, stated to TVDaily on July 29th, "Yoon Sung is not dead". Kim Yong Sup elaborated, "Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho) sustained a bullet shot in the last episode, but after much time passes, he eventually meets Kim Na Na. He doesn't appear as a ghost as it was actually just a time jump that we had set up. Of course, I respect the arbitrary interpretation of the viewers. However, just the fact that Yoon Sung didn't die is, strictly speaking, the definition of a happy ending. The director and writer put in the scene with this as their mindset."

This really happened in the United States I remember this very well. "The members of the group in 1997, identified by the authorities as Heaven's Gate, referred to themselves as angels, dressed alike in androgynous black clothes and buzz haircuts, and ran a business, Higher Source, that designed commercial home pages for the Internet. The co-founder of the cult, Marshall Herff Applewhite, 65, was among the dead, the San Diego County Medical Examiner's office said".

The Martial Arts though!
I love martial arts when I know the actor(s) are not faking the moves. That is what makes this movie great. I was impressed with Max Zhang, I even wished that Lee Joon Gi starred in this movie. A lot of great visual effects in this movie. It looks so real, the hits, the chops... all of it! The storyline with Max Zhang playing a father character he played made it so believable for a father who loves his son. The two different languages that are spoken or subtitled were done very well. I even got emotional in some of the scenes. I have seen Johnny Jaa in a lot of movies and "Rush Hour 3" is one of my favs. Love Jackie Chan although he didn't play in this movie but thought I would mention him.Was this review helpful to you?

I want to thank all the cast, the producers, the directors, the visual effects, the musicians and music creators, the makeup artists, the costumes... All of it! I give you your due respect! Awesome!
I want to thank the screenwriters for bringing awareness to rape.
I think I already wrote a review for this already, but don't see it.

It is outright astounding and brilliant, too.
The storyline with the present day was brilliant! I have a question for the Hair Team, was that Raymond Lam's real hair in the last episode? Anyways, The storyline didn't go back n forth as some do. I did take a point off of the storyline rating because you had Tina Tang play DongG kind of wavering at times in the personality of the character. If I could have another kid I would name him "Daišan", love that name. The costumes helped me get into the characters of that era, which is very good. I didn't notice any background music to busy being focused on the storyline but still rate it at 8. I loved the other characters of the 3 brothers but then I saw Qu Chu Xiao towards the end, he is one of my fav actors. Those eyes of his... unt uh uh. Thank you Rule the World team for a marvelous Drama Series. Was this review helpful to you?

What did I just watch!
The only reason I'm hanging in there is because of William Chan and Tiffany Tang. I didn't like episode one at all! ugh... The first episode killed my mood! The 2nd episode killed my mood! The third and fourth when I saw William Chan made me feel a little better. I actually feel like I have the flu! Great actors and actresses in this BUT... help!!! Just want to say Li Yi Feng I like too. so there you have it. I can't... I really can't... make it to Episode 11... The storyline sucked. My heart aches now because I feel bad for William Chan, Tiffany Tang, and all of the cast. The Pain... ugh... Then I skipped all the way to the end. Whyyyyyyyyyy???Was this review helpful to you?
Incredible Fantasy ART
This storyline was awesome. The fantasy elements felt incredibly real — especially the body art and the face mask on Cheng Lei’s character, Jinan. Honestly, whoever wrote this has an exceptionally imaginative mind. At times it felt like Cheng Lei stepped straight out of the screen — almost 3D.I’m still trying to figure out whose soul it belonged to and whether that character was immortal. That mystery stayed with me long after the episode ended. The writer truly should create another story centered on the supernatural warrior Cheng Lei portrayed — it was that good.
Song Yi was also excellent as a female warrior general. Though she’s a petite actress, she carried the role with strength and confidence and made it completely believable.
Everything worked together beautifully — the fantasy, the storyline, the music, and the sets were all perfectly balanced. And the horses… I loved them. The actors who rode them did a great job as well.
And I promise — I won’t mention Cheng Lei’s eyes. 😏
