Xiao Zhan did so well as Wei Ying. The character development from beginning to end got me sobbing like a child. Wang Yibo did well on his part as a stone face. I've seen Xiao Zhan in Oh my Emperor and I did drop that drama though he did catch my eye. So I decided to give The Untamed a chance and it did not disappoint! This was the first I've ever been exposed to him and I'm so thankful for this production to have casted him. Overall I think all the cast did a great job to play their roles. The music was superb! I have listened to it non-stop.
Now I'm binging Mo Dao Zu Shi, the donghua version on YouTube and reading some comics on Wecomics. Still doesn't fill my void of missing the original cast. Currently waiting and waiting for Sean and Yibo's new dramas to air. <3

Li Yun Rui is too good!
Finally finished and rewatching again! Because my fangirl heart needs Song Mo and Dou Zhao's love! 🥲Li Yun Rui, I knew he'd make it some day! During Love like the galaxy, I kept praying for him to find his one love but sadly..he's always getting left behind no matter how good the character was! Seeing him protray Song Mo has really proved that hard work prevails. He is such an eye candy too and you can tell how serious and real he takes on his acting skills.
Meng Zi Yi, is an actress who is not only beautiful physically but she plays her character to the core! I'm thankful their chemistry was able to smoothly glide across my tv screen! Her character Dou Zhao showcases that women can be strong and independent if they put their heart to it. But to be with someone who understands you, truly understands you, you can prosper even more than you can imagine.
Script/Storyline:
My goodness was it good. Another revenge stroyline but the two main leads supported each other like no other. The pacing of everything was so nice. I hate cat and mouse chasing where one of them is always running away because they think its whats best for the other. Whether it came to the leads revealing their love for each other or even side character problems that arises, everything made sense really quick. This drama rarely had any filler or random shots too. Everything falls into place. The communication between the two characters were super strong and they continously confided and trusted each other. Which showcased brilliantly through the whole show. I'm just thankful that I've finally found this gem.
Now I'm really anticipating their next project "Tiger sniffs the rose" ..I know it won't be for a while though. May Li Yun Rui and Meng Zi Yi continue to have positive careers so we can continue to watch their gracefulness on our screen. I tell myself, if I can remember the main characters names by the end then that means it was a dang good one. Chinese dramas hasn't been like that for me since the Untamed. Blossom put a stop to that indeed!
Overall, its a YES for me. Lets continue to support these two and the rest of the cast <3

I could really feel the love from Xu Kai towards Bai lu. He did really good on his acting for this drama. There were so many annoying characters in the drama like Liu Su Ruo who was obsessed with Luo Ming Xuan (Who was also so annoying) and there was Lin Zi Yu who was obsessed with Mo Qing and so she did the stupidest/ unnecessary things to get his attention. Which he never cared for. She was honestly so weak in terms of power/fighting. Qin Qian Xian was such a lovely character in the drama. I'm glad this character existed in the drama. The mild love line he had with Lu Shi Qi was a nice touch.
There were many draggy parts of the drama that I can't point out when. I came to this drama after Arsenal Military Academy and probably hoped for too much. All in all I finished it! (:
