I have never hated a drama as much as i hate this drama, i have watched multiple revenge dramas but this is the worst revenge drama i have ever watched in my life. The ML's revenge is so misplaced and psychotic. I cant even continue watching the drama because i hate the ML so much. He is a crazy psychotic man who belongs in an asylum and need to go to therapy. Do not watch this drama if you are looking for a satisfying revenge plot.

I watched a little further and i think my main problem with the show apart from the revenge plot, is how flawed all the mothers in the show are. They treat their children either as a distant cousin or as a being to shape as they see fit. They have no regard for those who are not their children and they do not love their children enough. The crazy study mother is disappointing, even after hearing her son almost committed suicide, she disregarded his feelings. She believes that since she was never happy with her life, her son does not need to be happy with his life. The mother of the 4 children is one of the worst, she distances herself from her children at the same time she mistreats two of her daughter-in-laws while favouring the fake one. The working mother is the best out of all of them but she still has her flaws, she is too uninvolved in her children's lives, but she tries to change in the end

Note: Dong Hui's character is also annoying. She is too weak. Just because Mi Joo has been humbled a little, she wants to forgive everybody and share everything.

This show embodies everything i hate in family dramas, weak revenge plot, unlikable characters, weak females, useless forgiveness and lack of real punishment and humbling of bad characters

Exactly, you totally got my point, the drama is cute, the characters are cute and the situations in the drama are cute. I love it. I kept seeing people on TikTok say if you call Woo young cute you are infantalizing autistic people, I couldn’t understand that at all. Like that is obviously not the situation but people are just nitpicking.

I feel like the people watching extraordinary woo young and expecting it to be representative of all points on the autism spectrum need to watch a documentary rather than a drama. This show is a drama, woo young’s character is the perfect character for a drama as it allows for a range of scenes to be explored while showing the difficulties autistic people face. Although woo young’s autism is not the most common, it is still a reality and the show addresses the fact that her version of autism is not the blueprint or common version. The drama is beautiful and interesting while speaking on a sensitive topic and I think people need to give it a chance rather than bashing it for simply portraying an uncommon form of autism. This is not a documentary so the show writers do not need to represent all types of autism.

I’ve also seen people complaining about the words cute and adorable used to describe woo young and how this is a way of infantilizing autistic people and I totally disagree with this view. Woo young is not the only character that has been described as cute. Junho has also multiple times been described as cute, characters from other shows that do not deal with autism, have also been described as cute. Woo young is not called cute simply because of her autism. Her actions, the reactions of the those around her and the situation the characters are in, is the reason people describe the scenes and characters as cute. People need to realize that cute is not a descriptive term solely associated with children. People of all ages can be seen as cute and the association of cute with infantilizing is just a matter of people nitpicking because they do not like that they are not represented in the show. It is impossible for all autistic people to be represented so please stop nitpicking and try to give the show a chance. So far the show has been respectful and entertaining and if further down the line they make a mistake, then they can be NICELY educated and corrected.

Sorry if I may seem harsh, I just hate that people aren’t giving the show a chance when the cast and crew have taken their time to learn how to portray this sensitive topic in a respectful manner.

Overall I enjoyed this drama so much but the one thing I hated in this drama was So Hee’s love interest. I started the show loving So Hee and her quest to find a partner but at the end I hated her partner. He came across as childish and annoying most of the time. To me he also seemed depressed and even So Hee questioned that sometimes but they just joked it off. I wish So Hee had ended up with someone better. Her final partner was not worth all her struggles. Apart from that I absolutely loved the show and So Hee’s character.

Note: I’m aware he really liked So Hee but his personality was very unlikable for me. He reasoned and acted like a child more often than not.

There are 2 main issues I have with this drama right now. Firstly the MAIN leads don’t get enough scenes together and even when they do, it is overshadowed by something else. This makes no sense. They are a secret couple, we should get secret couple scenes not out of office friend scenes. Secondly, the forecaster’s wife is the most annoying character in the whole show. At first I felt bad for her but now, I’m so angry at her. The forecaster tries to be a good father to his daughter and just because he was a good husband she wants to mess that up. That is so wrong. Is she dislikes him so much she should divorce him and move on and let him have a relationship with his daughter. She needs to get over herself.

It is obvious that what you are doing is not being a critic but simply hating because rather than mentioning the parts you felt the FL fell short off, you criticize her by calling her a wall and insulting her by saying she is dryer than the Gobi desert. You are not a critic but a crazy Xu Kai who is simply a hater. You also use the fact that she is pretty to insult her calling her a pretty face and implying she doesn't have talent. Her acting was not perfect but it was good enough to carry the story and capture the audience's attention earning it, its well deserved rating. Stop being a crazy fan and actually analyse the actors in the show for how their actually acting and not just because you are obsessed with Xu Kai. You haters are the worst kind of fans, you look for any reason to insult and berate people who get the opportunity to act with your obsession.

And it is perfectly ok to be disappointed with her acting. The problem starts when people start to come up with stupid reason for disliking the FL. Im not saying you are doing that but a lot of the Viki commenters im seeing are doing that

The drama is great and the character are interesting to watch, if you cant appreciate that, then don't watch it.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the people live commenting on the show on Viki are extremely toxic. I initially watched this show while it was airing and i didn't see this mostly because there weren't that many commenters but now that i'm rewatching it, i've noticed some people are really toxic. They keep complaining about the FL and the ML. In terms of the FL, they are saying her skirt is too short and she should wear pants, they are also complaining that she is annoying and dumb. Like if you don't like the FL, DON'T WATCH THE SHOW. there is nothing wrong with her skirt and her personality, a girl should be able to freely wear a skirt without being slut shamed. For the ML, any slight teasing is seen as bullying, in a scene where he called her a little dramatic, a commenter posted that he is a toxic bully. Sorry but how? some people are so sensitive. He is not a bully. He is simply teasing her and he praises her and takes care of her as much as he teases her. Also some times the FL teases the ML but you don't see anyone calling her a bully. If the ML and FL annoy you that much don't watch the show God knows they sure as h**l don't need your views.

I totally agree. I feel like as much as i love complicated plots and drama, this drama really feels good and calming to watch, because i feel like each scene surrounding each character is intentional and calming. I enjoy watching the drama so much and its the only airing drama i am watching presently because i prefer to binge my dramas but something about this drama just makes me excited to watch it each Thursdays. It is really healing and calming and i especially love the band sessions, it gives spice to each episode.

Exactly. I totally agree with you because I do understand them taking care of the mistress because their son couldn’t but no matter how bad BHR is, she is still their DIL and she should come first because she is the victim

The reason i really dislike PSH and his family is because they are very two faced and as i mentioned before they welcomed the mistress with open hands. PSH is a very weak man in my opinion, he never stands up to anyone whether it is BHR or his parents he just sits there cowardly and takes everything which is why he is in the situation he found himself. His parents are very two faced, they constantly talk nicely and placate BHR whenever she is around but once they are alone in their room the berate her and compare her to the mistress. I find this extremely annoying because even though BHR is not a good person, it is still wrong of them to berate her the way they do and also PSH's mother struggled with this also. When she found out that PSH's father may still be in love with Dong Mi and was secretly sending her things, she blew up and stopped talking to him, it took thinking her husband was emotionally "cheating" for her to lay out all her grudges. Her son psychically and emotionally cheated which resulted in a pregnancy and they at first were understanding but once they met the mistress their attitude flipped. They are too two faced for me to like their character. Also i don't honestly believe the mistress's innocent character especially in this field of toxic characters, why does a mistress get to be the most innocent and pure out of all of them. I don't believe it .

P.S. I still think BHR is a horrible wicked narcissist.

Personally I am enjoying this season more than season 1. A lot more is happening this season whether we like it or not. Contrary to what some people are saying the actors are doing a superb job because looking at the comments, they are really getting a lot of people riled up, me included. This season is quite interesting if you skip all the scenes of the men and their mistresses being lovey dovey and that is what i did and i am enjoying it more. The episode where SPY and her horrible husband sat down to talk was in my opinion much needed but tooo damn long. I had to take breaks multiple times because it felt a bit repetitive, it was just them making valid conversations but repeating the same thing every time they got up and then sat down. In terms of BHR, she is a horrible person, no question there but am i happy she got her revenge? Yes i am. Am i totally happy with the way she got it? No i am not. She omitted a lot of her involvement to turn public opinion in her favour and the irks the shit out of me but i am happy PSH and his parents are suffering because they are terrible people. The way they opened their arms to the mistress all because she was more "innocent" and pregnant with their grandchild was disgusting because the reality of it is that if the roles were reversed they would've have ruined BHR. In terms of LSE, she is weak, i feel like if her husband wanted to get back together even after all that has happened, she would be willing. She needs to stop preaching peace and forgiveness and get her act together and move on and be happy.

P.S BHR is delusional if she actually things Seo Ban has a thing for her. She is too narcissistic, she thinks every man likes which is far from the truth. Also i love SPY's character because she is doing what needs to be done and learning to move forward. There is no use dwelling on shit that has already happened.

I dont think people are complaining about the show itself i think they are complaining more about the fact that 6+ episodes were dedicated to the men and their mistresses story which is highly excessive and unneeded. I watch the show knowing it was about cheating but i hated the episodes that focused solely on the men and their mistresses.

I totally disagree with your outlook on this drama because contrary to what you say Infidelity is not a part of life. This is a very flawed and pessimistic outlook on life, there are many couples who have never had to deal with infidelity throughout their relationship and there are also many couples who have had to deal with infidelity through out their relationship. The moment we brand cheating and adultery as a grey area which we are neither sure whether it is right or wrong, is the moment we began to lose basic human values as a society.

Cheating is wrong and it makes you a bad person and there is no two ways about it. If a person gets married and they later on realise that they married the wrong person or they no longer love the person, they can simply divorce or talk out the situation and move on. The moment you cheat, you are a bad person and you become the one in the wrong. There is nothing wrong with divorce and you should not be forced to stay in a situation you do not want to, all because you got married.

This show justifies and in some cases glorifies cheating because contrary to what you said the men do give excuses for the cheating, whether it is because they no longer love the woman or because the woman is very different from how she used to be when they were dating. These useless excuses given by the men to justify their cheating is useless in its whole because cheating is never a solution. The show also justifies the men cheating by giving us a whole 6+ episodes of how the men and their mistresses got together while playing romantic music in the background. This is aggravating and a tactic used to romanticise the adultery these men are committing.

Cheating is not and will never be a grey area. It is wrong and it makes the person who cheated a bad person. Cheating is never the solution to falling out of love or being disillusion in marriage.

Exactly they are filler episodes. It like they are trying to make the series longer by doing this so that they have an excuse for season 2.

I agree. We have been watching flashback episodes for the past 6 episodes and it really irritates me. It makes it seem like the writer is justifying the cheating. Everytime i see a new episode and its a flashback episode, i feel so disgusted.

I totally agree with your comment. Hye young barely ever talked to Jojo in season 1 so it did not make sense how they suddenly fell in love with each other. The story was really disappointing
