As the show has an alternative ending, if I had an option to suggest something to my past self, it would be to skip episode 22 and go straight to the alternative ending (episode 23) - and after that just watch episode 22 out of curiosity.
First off, that final battle was kind of anticlimactic. Second off, is what is up with those endings! For the first…
I have the same doubts about the alternative ending - it doesn't feel like the Lu Bai really came back. But I do appreciate the open option that he might have.
As to Gu Han and Chen Ru Yue - yes, that is exactly what they are implying.
When I see the bromance tag, I often wonder if it really means bromance or is it censored BL or just simply friendship. So if you are wondering as well, my assessment is 0% BL, 0% censored BL, 2% bromance & 98% brotherhood and comradery.
I just finished way watching this drama i love ittttt i 100% recommend it! BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT…
From my point of view, it was an ambiguous open ending, where a sad ending is more plausible. As the dialog is not spoken out loud and they magically disappear in the end (also she said it again, that she would follow him anywhere - even in death).
The series hit close to home. I was bawling my eyes out every single episode. Completely heartbroken, but it was beautiful at the same time. Such amazing actors too! I fell in love with all of them, especially Ayano Go's warm affectionate gazes. It was also exceptionally well filmed, as everything seemed so real.
I couldn't emotionally connect with the movie. I found it very predictable and stereotypical. Regardless, I do applaud movies that focus on the LGBT+ community (especially in SK), so I don't regret my choice of watching.
Honestly, people should watch this movie before the original series, as it would have more chances to be rated unbiasedly. Overall, it's a cute movie, worth watching. But once you watch it, I would still recommend watching the original Japanese version - not the remake, (although that was alright separately as well). If you have intentions to watch both Japanese versions I'd recommend the remake first and then the OG version, as the latter, in my opinion, is the best (the emotions and skinship is the most natural and believable).
i assumed that he wrote it for his own mother back at home but it was just at the right time and under the right…
Honestly, I doubt he would survive that many gunshots and a fall from such heights (not to mention all the metal structures they crashed through). I thought that maybe Lee Hae Jin survived and decided to write to her in Dong Gu's behalf, but he wouldn't know the last thing Dong Gu said to her was to get the operation so she could be healthy... So yeah,... I'll just have to believe both of them survived as well.
It really doesn't have to end like this. The romantic in me wishes Murong Li would give Zhi Ming his flute - to show him that HE means the world to him.
I've rewatched the series after reading the novel. Honestly, when first watching it, I wasn't the biggest fan, but now with the knowledge from the novel, I found it absolutely adorable. There is a gap between the main series and the additional two episodes ("the special") that leaves you clueless unless you read the novel. For anyone that is curious about it, I would suggest reading at least those chapters.
