hey, i didn't finish it but i really want to know the main points of this season, if anyone can give some spoilers…
Not sure where you were up to but:
-OYH becomes really evil and betrays SSR. OYH has an affair with SSR husband and it is revealed that OYH is the murderer of Min Seol A. OYH ends up plotting with JDT as she is scared for her and her daughter's future. SSR figures this out and upon this revelation it leads to the downfall of SSR and OYH's relationship. -SSR reveals the evil deeds of the respective rich families and the children. This leads to their downfall. Everything is revealed; from the bullying of MSA to HEB's forged marks to enter Cheong A. The evil deeds are televised on news stations. The parents are all brought in for questioning by the police. Most notably, JDT's corrupt activities are revealed. - JDT finds out that Logan was working with SSR to lead to his downfall - HEB attempts suicide. As a result she is diagnosed with Psychological? Aphasia. The other student's from the rich families are bullied at school. - SSR and Logan decide to leave to America as SSR's life would be threatened by JDT since he hasn't been sentenced yet. However, on the day, SSR receives a call from Ms Yang the housekeeper that JDT was abusing his kids so of course SSR runs home only to be murdered. - OYH is at the murder scene so the police detain her for the murder of SSR and also because OYH admitted that she was the murderer.
IN THE FINAL EPISODE: - It is revealed however, that JDT played OYH and put her at the murder scene. He corroborated with Ms Yang. JDT is the real murderer. - Bae Ro Na is branded as the 'murderers daughter' and we get a glimpse of Jenny being 'humane' as she gifts Ro Na food and seems to sympathise with Ro Na - HEB speaks again but this time she backtalks her mum and appears to be more fierce and in my opinion it looks like she has a psychological illness cause her verbal speech is quite evil. - JDT 'adult-naps' Logan Lee for what he did - somehow Logan escapes
THE ENDING: - The ending is of all the rich parents 'happy' together again and CSJ and JDT are together and at one point CSJ asks JDT if he had any feelings for OYH to which JDT replies 'no' so apparently he played OYH the whole time and he said that 'OYH needed to go back to her place and he was just using her'. - OYH is sentenced to prison but whilst she was being transported, the police vehicle has an 'accident' and she is 'rescued' by Logan who plotted the accident so that he could 'rescue' her. She is televised as a runaway prisoner. Logan believes that OYH killed both MSA (which she did) AND SSR (which she did not) and he physically threatens her with a sharp object by her neck. OYH attempts to plead with him that altho she did kill MSA, she did not kill SSR and that JDT set her up. Of course Logan doesn't believe her words. OYH brings the sharp object in her neck. - The ending scene is of OYH lying down with blood dripping out of her neck, and the scene flashes btwn OYH lying there with blood and CSJ. I believe that the scene is showing that everything is 'back in its place like from the beginning' and CSJ still won in the end. Then the scene flashes to the polaroid picture of OYH and SSR which they took together on their yacht trip and basically really shows their friendship. So you become quite emotional about SSR's death cause until the end, she didn't report her 'friend' to the authorities.
Honestly, I think that it was good that you dropped it because i planned on dropping it about half way. It was overbearingly dramatic and the acting was honestly like a 6.5-7/10 for me. There was just too many crying and shouting scenes and I could feel no emotions from the 'sad' scenes. The plot was also everywhere. It could have been better.
Also its speculated that SSR didn't die but her twin did because SSR wasn't wearing the jewellery from before but honestly I don't believe it because why would the twin run there in her place. -
Disappointed by the second half, so much going on at same time. it was chaos.7.5/10 for me
I agree. The second half became terrible and honestly I felt like the director didn't really do a great job and the actors, their acting was overdramatic.
Funny, the drama seems to have taken a completely different direction from the novel : they seem to focus on action…
Where did you find all the chapters (Was it in english)? I've only managed to read up to chapter 38 (still waiting for updates) but the updates are honestly so slow.
True. But it is always better to read manhua before the drama because it has key points to the story that dramas…
I actually really enjoyed the manhua. HAHA but only managed to read up to chapter 38 so far cause the english vers. takes ages to get released. Have you found a site to read the whole manhua in english? I've been trying so hard to find a link but failed to :(
aight i watch the first few ep, it seem they've taken the route of making Feng Xiao Sheng a real villain instead…
I agree it looks like the whole storyline is different and i hate that they changed that too! but I'm not too surprised because if the original manhua was adapted too much, the drama would have been censored so much or not even approved for release. Sighs. Looks like i won't be watching it..... I was so excited though.
TBH I wish they chose casts that sort of resemble the characters in the manhua. Also it looks like the changed the plot alot which is really disappointing cause I loved the manhua version exactly the way it was written.

I agree. However I do agree with Winnie that she did mistreat her kids in that she hardly pays any attention to them. I mean how can you be so ignorant and selfish that you don't realise that your kids are being abused. I think that she is so absorbed in reaching her own goals that she unintentionally disregarded the twins. That is her sin but I reckon it's the least out of all the parents.

After ep1 it just feels like cheap SKY Castle rip off for me. At least in SKY C they had some realistic goals…
Same I felt like this drama was a mix of Sky Castle and a tiny bit of The World of the Married. I defs like Sky Castle more because Penthouse is too dramatic that it borders on the point of unrealistic. Also I felt like Sky Castle was produced to a higher level than Penthouse. Some scenes in Penthouse were half-heartedly executed.
So far I am enjoying this drama. Although i must say it is overly dramatic in some scenes and in other scenes, it wasn't produced well in that I didn't feel the tension. However, I hate a majority of the characters. They are all as bad as each other. Yoon Hee and her daughter Bo Na are supposed to be the 'good' characters. The ones that we empathise with. However, I do not feel that way at all. They piss me off. Ever since the start, they have been greedy, spoilt, and act like total pushovers. Super frustrating.
Bo Na is so greedy. I can't believe that as a child she already wants to move into the most expensive residential complex. Be grateful for what you have girl. Plus, she is so rude to her mum and acts like a brat just because they don't live in that complex. When her mother tries to do something good for the family she immediately blows up and doesn't ask her mum for a reason. Also, she easily believes what the rich kids say about her mother rather than trying to determine the facts through her mother. So speechless. Especially since she experienced those issues with the other kids yet she treats her mum the same way. In saying that, I do think that there needs to be a higher level of communication btwn the mother and daughter. I don't understand why the mother doesn't communicate issues to her daughter. If she did, it would have reduced the amount of fallouts they had.
Additionally Bo Na really needs to learn the saying 'fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me'. She continues to be fooled by the same group of ppl. I can't believe that in ep 10 she let the kids that were bullying her!! into her house!! Blows my mind!!!! I mean why would you do that??? If my bullies came and visited me, I would be like "fuck off"! She continually lets them in and falls for their tricks even though they clearly hate her! She needs to understand that she can't get along with everyone therefore, she should stop trying to get along with them. Also, how do you fall for a guy that initially bullied you. Facepalms. Do you not think that maybe he is scheming against you?
Yoon Hee, I can't understand why on earth she would want to move into the residential complex where ALL her enemies are living!! I mean, wouldn't it make more sense for you to stay away from them? If she wants to live in an expensive complex, then just move to one that has the same 'reputation'. I mean surely there are plenty of expensive complex' out there. I know that its for the drama but just venting my frustration about the logic-ness.
One thing i hate the MOST in the drama is how Bo Na and Yoon Hee (but especially Yoon Hee), take so long to speak up for themselves. LIKEEE why do you shut up/take so long to spill the facts when accusations/an issue arises. I mean, no wonder the other characters can trample on you so easily. Speak up for yourself girls.
