I Stick to Viki, tving and Disney+ currently because they mostly kept the essence. I try to stay away from shows that will get a second season. Personally I prefer closed storylines .

I’m so with you. These days I’m really hunting for KDramas produced by Korean channels and not international streaming services because they’re much fun. But overall the quality seems to decrease for pushing western standards. It’s not overall bad but for my wishes. If I would like to watch that I would pick a western show from the get go. Therefore it’s disappointing for me as a longterm fan.

It’s like a very westernized Version of YOU with Korean actors. It’s okay overall but nothing That I would connect with a kdrama. I don’t want to sound dramatic but Netflix puts a lot of effort in the Americanization of Korean shows and that ruins the magic. I’m not happy with the Development.
