I’ve just watched this movie...I think it’s worth watching and it’s kinda understatement here...this movie…
I‘m from Europe as well and the train tickets were to another destination in the Czech Republic from my understanding. Also, in the 1940s were train travels to Asia pretty normal. Never heard of the Orient Express? ,)
Beautiful story about two couples in different times. I really enjoyed the landscape and city views. Prague is one of my favorite cities in Europe. It was amazing to see a movie with so many places where I’ve been in the past. The chemistry between the actors was pretty good. I really enjoyed the whole movie.
Beautiful landscapes and night views of the city made this movie to a visual highlight. The stories itself are beautiful and sadly more realistic then Hollywood endings. I enjoyed the movie till the end. I can’t share the opinion that it’s boring or extremely sad. Yes, it has some sad moments, but overall it’s a story of a man finding back to his inner self after he lost the connection to his own feelings. On his journey he gets help by friends and love, but has to learn his own worth alone. It’s indeed a nice idea for a movie. I really liked the main lead. His portrayal was convincing and made me suffer with him.
BTW Yang Yang fans should be aware that he has one of the smallest parts within the cast. If you watch only for him please don’t rant the main story because you’re disappointed that he’s not the lead. I’ve got the feeling while reading prior comments about the movie and expected a terrible movie. It’s the contrary, the movie lives from the versatility of characters and their developments. If you give everyone a fair chance I’m sure you’ll enjoy this movie.
It’s overhyped. The show seemed more influenced by typically western Netflix productions then Korean touch.
The topic prostitution was well executed in the short drama Everything and Nothing. Despite the Limitation of 3 episodes they showed the serious character within the traditional society. Maybe you want to try it as well.
I’m a fan of Japanese death game shows and movies. Since I ran out of shows I decided to try the topic within a cdrama. Here I am. Well, what can I say?
Die Now has indeed all characteristics of Chinese shows that steal away the Charme of Japanese influence. I guess I’m spoiled with former shows. But I’m a little bored by the draggy side plots that let the games less shine. Also, the annoying females are too much for me. If they would’ve shortened the show and more focus on the games it would’ve been more fun for me. Therefore, the show is okay, but nothing extraordinary.
The drama is okay so far. It has the typically Chinese plot with a high number of side characters that interest less. Or in short, it’s a Little draggy.
From my point of view Hu Yi Tian acting is great as always. I like his Stil, but it’s definitely not one of his best works.
I don’t mind the Focus on Business, but I‘ve got a hard time to get into the story thanks to the female lead. I’m glad she’s not that dumb annoying side kick like in other CDramas, but now she’s clever and annoying. I’ve got the feeling I would’ve enjoyed the story more with another actress. But that’s just my opinion. Personally I don’t like her character and looks.
