does this make u cry a lot, or just a little bit? because someone said the daughter makes they cry, but i'm not…
It was a wild mix of happy and sad crying in the second half of the movie. It depends on your own ability to dive into a story. I belong to the people that are 100% invested in a film. That’s why my reaction is always really emotional. That’s what happened here.

Yoon Hyun Min is a great actor, its just that this role wasn't written well. He was very funny in Witch's Romance/Discovery…
Nice conclusioN! So true!

I agree. They did the best job for a lacking script. The major changes that the SL had where confusing. Also I couldn’t understand why the ml was interested in the fl at all.

The worst script writing had the female lead and the second lead. That was a disaster.

Interesting conclusion. Feels like a message was hidden in the closing. live your life and not what society expects…
Yeah, the message is pretty good. But it had not a successful effect imo.

On To All the Guys Who Loved Me Sep 2, 2020
I have never seen a drama with such a passive and selfish female lead. Her character was terribly written. After the first half of the show I felt sorry for the male lead that he was in love with her. My thought never changed. On the contrary! After everything he has done for her and they even solved the misunderstandings from their past lifes, she was still unable to do something for him. In fact, the show is the story about a man who’s willing to do everything for his love and a woman who’s happy to receive but not to give. It’s even more disappointing that the drama should show that you can live and love happily ever after without a marriage certificate. The moral isn’t wrong, but I wished they had made her character nicer. Thanks to her passive behavior I really dislike her. Moreover, the CEO deserves way more than a person who’s not able to show her love and talks only. That ruined the show for me.

If that's the case are the characters queer coded?

Title The Host
The main issue I have with this movie is that the social commentary is just way to in your face. There is nothing…
The movie is full of tools that symbolize the national identity. If you don’t focus on the direct issues but the ones behind the curtain you have so much to explore. That’s why I can’t agree with you in this matter.

Title The Host
The social comment of the movie is precious. The monster is a metaphor for the negative influence of the USA on Korea. The Host is not a simple monster movie. Moreover, it is a film about the South Korean National identity and the position of Koreans in comparison with Americans. The minor respect is shown in the first scene and relays to an incident that had many demonstrations and negative press as consequence. Very direct, but not disrespectful system critic. Respect!

Really good movie that is packed with thrilling and political moments. I don’t understand the complaints about the ending. It’s one of a kind and fitted perfectly. Glad to see not the same conclusion as in every American movie. Really good movie!

I don’t understand the negative comments. The film has a nice humor and takes itself not too serious. If you consider that while watching it’s really funny and entertaining. So, please don’t be influenced and decide for yourself.

I guess your not Asian, but in most Asian countries it's common to live parents even after you get married or…
It’s definitely a cultural inheritance. It is true that the respect for family and the behavior towards them is much stricter in Asian countries. Also, in Korea you grew up in a collective society. Family is the smallest group that defines how the individuals live. Important is also that there are strict rules in society. Older people are superior to younger ones. Parents are higher than their children. Men are more respected than women. That means in her case she can not leave her only family and older aunt behind. Because she raised her she is indebted to her. If she would leave her, she would be someone that has no respect for her family. That means she would be an outcast in society and loses hope for marriage. Such a behavior would not be accepted from future families in law. It is very tricky. Because we live in a individual society it would be okay to break out of the circle of mental abuse without consequences. Here it doesn’t effect your future life. Our society works differently. Sadly that is not the case in Korea. Her situation is very tricky. She isn’t only a victim of abuse but also a culprit, even when it is accidental. So, if she would leave her aunt and she would tell the world about her, she would be finished in the society.
