Fantastic insight in the life of a Vietnam veteran and his coping with a brutal past. The movie hints war cruelties, camp town women and PTSD in a time of student revolts and insecurity in the very own society. It’s an interesting and surprisingly critical war movie. Forget about the rating and give it a shot!
The negative comments stopped me from watching for years. Now I’ve finally seen the movie and it was really great. Of course they leave room for a second movie, but it’s closed and works as one movie. So don’t be afraid to watch it! It’s a fun ride and has a similar Charme like the American movie Now You See Me.
The movie had so much unused potential. The biggest problem is the tempo. It’s so far paced without reason. It remembers of Three Angel For Charlie and it’s trash potential.
Lee Min Ho and Tiffany Tang are awesome. Great chemistry and even better action scenes. The rest is forgettable.
You can decide for yourself. It’s an interpretation ending.
The Ending is free to interpret. You can see it as a positive one and as a negative one. Nothing in the middle. I’m more the melodrama type and thought it’s negative in the end. But I’m sure you’ll love the end when you see it positive.
Very thrilling survival movie with a fantastic cast! It’s so worth the watch... The little girl is so amazing. I want to see more with her!
I read many complaints about the portrayal of the Americans. It’s really funny! In fact the movie reflects the reality. This is how the world sees the USA. That’s why I wonder if the negative comments were coming from Americans??! I’m really curious.
