BTW in my eyes is the show not focused on romance. It’s more to find your place in the world or in the Hwarang to act the right way without influences from the outside world. Finding your inner strength. I really liked that about the show.

I think it was well explained why dog bird acted this way. The purpose of the Hwarang was to build friendships. As he was for a while in the shoes of the king I came to understand the horrible situation and believed at the dreams of the future king. At first I was also irritated that the original king didn’t act but after watching how he was in an inferior role as he finally did I understand it even more. I loved the ending and it’s too bad that the show is already over. I really enjoyed it!

I had this drama a long time on my list and always hesitated to watch it because of the bad comments. Now I’ve seen it in just two days and don’t understand the negative comments. It was a fun ride! I wasn’t bored along the way because of the amazing characters. The main and supporting characters are gorgeous and so interesting. I was invested in every storyline. Also is the idea of mixing history with modern interpretations and an amazing soundtrack a success in my eyes. It must have been fun for the actors to play their roles... this is noticeable while watching! I can really recommend this show and hope that you’ll make your own opinion! Have fun and enjoy!

I think it’s gonna be Happy End. Everything guides this way, but they’re still some bridges to cross till they reach the perfect moment.
