I kinda wish jiyoung was also learning traditional cooking methods or dishes and it wasn't just one sided of her…
She actually brought in Hungarian/German food too with the schnitzel. And honestly, since she’s a top Korean chef from the future, I'm sure she knows way more about her own traditional dishes than they ever could. Korea back then didn’t have access to many ingredients that came later from the New World, so the cuisine was waaay more limited. In a sense, she’s blending what she knows with what they had, which is still pretty cool.
