I wish the main leads will end up together. I know this is a serious political- crime investigation drama but still... sometimes I feel Prosecutor Hwang needs to find happiness at some point. He's sensitive. He just doesn't know how to express it.

Haha my thoughts exactly mate ! She was always a little silly in her brevious dramas. This is gonna be her first serious role. I hope this time she'll follow the script and portrait the heroine appropriately . This is a tragic and ill-fated love story so there is little room for guffy acting. I also pray for Zheng Ye to stay alive in this drama xD

If you hadn't skip all those episodes you would have seen that the King never liked that woman. Political rivals made the queen believe that her husband slept with her but he was drugged and unconscious. It was all a conspiracy to separate them and it worked because for many years they didnt speak to each other. When she fell ill she admitted she still loved him deeply and they both cried and confessed their love for one last time. He never slept with an other woman. He just got drugged and she went in his bed to make it look like they spend the night together . Just a damn conspiracy and nothing more. This ending was really sad and frustrating.

Their acting is horrible. I've seen very talented young Chinese and Korean actors doing great jobs. But in this drama main characters suck

After episode 11 it becomes AMAZING just like TMOPB was !!!
Ep2-8 are slow but if you keep watching you'll get rewarded. Feng Jiu struggles to be with Dong Hua as much as Ye Hua did for Bai Qian ❤❤

Yessssssss !! Jeez this drama finally is here. I'm not used to Zhao lu si being smart as a female lead . It's nice to see her for once in a decent role. I also love Zhen ye Cheng from oriental Odyssy. I hope that in this drama he'll stay alive lol

Since you watched it all ....can I have one question ?
The ending was extremely weird . Did the queen died and met him in the afterlife (in the fields) ? Because their last dialogue didn't have much sense. He said he was trapped in a dream and everything they said seemed unreal to me. I would say that he could have been in a coma if it was a modern drama but it's a historical so ....no way. The queen seemed extremely depressed when she realised that the man she was following in the village wasn't him and when I saw her in the fields the only logical explanation I could find was that she committed suicide (which of course is horrible and I hate this potential). It's just that .....I can't convince myself that this was a happy normal reunion . I saw some weird hidden meanings in their last dialogue and they never really explained to the viewers what happened in those 2 years.

With all respect, first 4 episodes are basically just....... Masterchef. Anyways , I waited 2 years for this drama and I absolutely support it and love it. Even if at some points gets draggy.....I don't mind that much because I can see Vengo and Dilraba. Probably the serious plot needs a few more episodes to start

I really wanted to like this but ......No.
I watched the first 7 episodes and I found the female lead awfully annoying and the plot not intriguing at all so I dropped it. I guess this drama just wasn't for me.....
But you guys give it a shot and see for yourselves. I just found it boring but since it has high score your might actually like it , who knows

Episode 1 is amazing with very interesting plot (full of action , tragic at some points) and then from ep 2 to the end it becomes completely silly and goofy. They completely transform it from being serious in a 100% silly drama. I couldn't stand so much comedy. It started amazingly and then became a crap. I like some comedy in my dramas but I can't stand that silliness. It became a show for 14yo kids

Yeah I hope too. Also about editing...... for example in Love and Destiny nothing happened inbetween ep51-57 and they put a huge amount of plot in only ep58-60. I hope this won't be the deal with this drama too. I love the novel story ,the author and the main leads. I just hope that in those 2 years of endless waiting they took their time to create an amazing drama, just like TMOPB was, (with the right amount of action /romance that doesn't feel draggy) . I've high hopes for Pillow book !

WHY 58 EPISODES AND NOT 60 ? They changed that yesterday. That's so sudden wtf. Anyways, I've waited 2 years for this and it's finally almost time! I just hope it'll be subbed instantly. I can already see myself Fan-girling the moment Dong Hua appears in the screen ❤ Dilereba is a very good and beautiful actress also.
