Firstly, the way this novel is portrayed is a bit sexist, yes, that's my point of view based on my experiences, if you approve of this guy's type of attitude just because he apologized afterwards, that's entirely your problem. most of the money that FL spent was to donate to charities, which SAVED him from many FAIR and TRUE accusations that were being made about him. Her accepting to be his slave was literally pure psychological pressure and stupidity that he did to her, and I'm glad he didn't do worse because that would make him meaner than he is.
Whoever wrote the script constantly tries to portray him as the poor guy in the story, the man who has every reason to be the asshole that he is and morally harass the employees. He only really starts to change when he finds out that she was going to die because of her (still reading her diary WITHOUT HER PERMISSION), otherwise, he wouldn't even treat her like people.
and, yes, he only becomes a good person in the last two episodes, completely changing his personality within 30 minutes of the episode, again.
this drama portrays women in a way that men love to see them and put them in a point of submission, while they are the poor guys in the story; the best part of it is the chemistry between the actors and her revenge, other than that, it's just another Korean drama and even worse because ML is unbearable.
If you don't see anything wrong with it, again, that's completely your problem. I'm not telling you not to watch the drama, just not to romanticize ML, actually I have a lot of fun watching this but yeah I don't think it's really a soooo good drama for you to be defending him with all your strength, vira gente porra

You're welcome, it's a very funny drama, especially the part where the protagonist is taking revenge on him! It's worth seeing but always with a critical eye 🥰 (I got a little angry when I didn't see any comments pointing out his nonsense hahahaahaha

you can continue watching, there's really enjoyable moments and the chemistry between the main couple is good. but some scenes made me uncomfortable, like him asking her to clean the house several times even though the house was already clean (because he wanted her company and there was no other way apparently 💀).

the way that even though she supposedly has cancer due to stress she stops blaming him for being the cause of that stress because he cries and he is also human, it's not his fault. The highlight of his stupidity is when he fights with her for not taking his side when his former employees apologize for sending him threats, he doesn't accept it and even says he's going to sue them. and the first scene of their kiss is him counting to three and kissing her > without her permission < and when they were still hating each other.

the way that he treat his secretaries and the screenwriter puts the excuse in his "traumas" and the fact that he is being persecuted by these former employees. he asks Sina to clean the whole house for him even though the house is already clean, there are several scenes of him sitting on the sofa and her just cooking (with a romantic air) and of course their first kiss is completely out of nowhere, with him counting 3 seconds until kissing her WITHOUT HER PERMISSION and them having NOTHING but hate for each other. besides, he only realizes he's a total asshole in the last episode and yet, throughout the entire time he's treated like someone misunderstood who suffered a lot in the past and that's why he's an asshole, a male chauvinist and an idiot

it's one of the most sexist dramas that ive ever watched and its surprising to see so many reviews with high rating and none of them pointing the sexism
