I see it less like revenge and more like lashing out the sane way he did when Pio rejected him after the concert in high scjool.

I will personally listen to any propaganda on this earth except when it comes to grandpa... I do not believe in people who turn a new leaf just because they are dying especially in the case of a father figure/parent/grandparent this just me as you always had it in you but choose to not show care to the boy or his mother therefore feeding another generation of abuse, inferiority and hatred. The man can take his new leaf to the grave. The damage has already been done and Pio lighting up just because of those measely words shows how far gone the self worth is.

Most importantly the Man is a LONE WOLF who had choosen Pio and now has to fight with himself because he hates and loves this man just as intensely... Nothing about his intensity right now is a surprise, I want anyone who doesn't understand JY to go study his reaction the first time Pio told him they most separate after the Noblesse concert. This time around he has the full power to go all out in that madness.

I cannot be fooled into feeling sorry for granpa NEVER...

I am reminded of the hail Mary 'hail Mary full of grace the lord is with thee, blessed are thpu amoungst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb jesus (Pio)' and this boy is not berating the aligations. He is eaten up by guilt that does not belong to him and has to also pay for e everyones sins. He carries the guilt/sins without complain and seems to think he deserves it and the next step is to die for those sins of others so they can be "forgiven". If not die try to sacrifies himself.

This reminds me of people who say " I got here because I suffered a d the world was harsh to me, so I will proceed to make sure anyone else who wants to get here most also suffer asuch as I did" these type of people are the worst the think suffering is a badge of honour and everyone else most go through it and they will even cause the pain themsleves if the have to.

After the new episodes one thing that sits with me is the recording scene... That man broke this boy in front of all those people and they all just stood and watched... Humiliation is too kind a word at some point he srsted having a panic attack and lost control of his own hands and yet people will look at him and still throw stones at him for things he didn't do... Even hisotjer doesn't even get mentioned or as much hate.

Yes I am talking about JY... The think with JY is that he and Jaein are the same on paper they both love this man unconditionally and will fight anyone for him and they kept/keep telling him he is as amazing as he truly is, but they came after years of abuse from the adults in his life.

However all those adults turned to JY to lift JY up and they made sure to bring PIO down but JY the "real" talent kept saying "but the reason I even play half as good is because of Pio" now JY has joined the "Pio has no talent club" and the boy doesn't know what to do and has been trained for years that abuse is also a form of love plus symbolically Pio carries the guilt/sins of others and I think he will die for those sins... Thats why he is a gift from God to his mother.

I think that's why he is an easy target... He has been trained to be the punching bag and because he no longer fights back people punch him more even the viewers.

Watching that episode made me feel his loneliness so much... His family are just mocking around him as if he is invisible and he seems so use to it.

Pio is an example of what happens when you take a truly brilliant child and you brainwash it and abuse it for years into thinking it is worthless and not only that the little worth it can ever have is trough the approval of certain people and the those people turn around and remind him every blessed day that he has no talent...

We are one of those people, I have come across countless post saying Pio is talentless and his music has no soul, my question to all of you "is it because these useless adults have been saying it so much that you too have strayed parroting the sane thing or is it because like the adults around him we also refuse to see his pain??"

People keep calling him passive but I remember a saying I heard somewhere "do you know how much you have to abuse a mamal, that it decides not to reproduce" (this was in reference to today's generation and how the current world has made them almost child free)  now "do you know how much mental and emotional abuse you have to throw at a person for them to start believing they deserve what ever is happening to them?" and instead of fighting Pio seems to have accepted and embodied all the lies.... That is why he keeps sacrificing himself for his mother, for his ( I don't know what JY is to him but it's that attraction that can never be explained or stopped), that is why evil grandpa could tell him two words to make him happy dispite all of the abuse.

As for JY I have noting to say to him I literally have nothing to say to him and it's very simple in this entire drama. If Pio is the Sun then he is the planet that rotates around it and I don't even bother with him because no 9ne and I mean no one not even Pio supporters can hate him more than he will hate himself when he knows the entire story and I feel so sorry for him because he is already going trough so so much... One place were I almost fell sick was the recdoring scene as he pushed and pushed Pio into a panic attack (i felt sick watching him play so much that his fingers couldn't move) in front of all the people who wanted him to fail and spend their lives reminding him he is nothing... If i was a sane person this is where i would take Pio and run...

I fell I love with Jaein this week, the sad part is that the are still not giving her anything other that running after a man who is loosing his mind... But she has one job and you can't say she isn't doing it well.... This woman has fought for Pio ( I still question her inability to see his depression or almost insanity even though she spends so much time with him and claim to love him, girl your man is about to jump of a bridge and in nine years you didn't pick that up?) and she keeps fighting for him unconditionally I belive in the boyfriends but Pio needs this honest unconditional love that doesn't come with the crazy plus maybe a dash of awareness from jaein...

Truck of doom needs to get evil granpa off my screen I don't care if getting closer to his grave has made him a better person I DO NOT CARE, you can't and won't erase 27 yrs of abuse in two seconds... Your child is a replica of you and she used the way you brought her up to bring up her own child and you took joy in continuing the generational trauma...

Grandma Pio please go with your husband, I beg of you. How much malice could this boy have grown in you "I don't understand" you use this boy at every chance to get back at his mother...


Someone drop a piano on that teacher, you never wanted him and yet he gets to lay for your resentment towards his mother... You old people seem to want this one child to pay for everyone else's sins...

As for the mother, there is a level of narcissism, emotional manipulation, filial piety and "but she is your mother" "she has done so much for you" "but it's only because she loves you" that some children from traditional religious conservative non western families get to experience that some people will NEVER understand ... If you think he is just an abuse victim and should breakfree I am happy for yoh, for those of us who understand that only her death will set him free I hail at you...

This was the first episode I truly felt Pio's depression and the saddest part is not a single person who claims to love him noticed ( except his mom but they are at odds)...

The man doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep, he is so so silent, doesn't intereact, has zero interest in the people around him and is always zoning out...

And I think what made it worst is that, watching Luca this episode was like watching that evil grandpa teach this boy and any THING you have to destroy to rebuild comes out amazing, but any PERSON you have to destroy to rebuild comes back as a shell of who they really are...

I couldn't stomach this episode, Pio is the punching bag of this show... Any and all anger all gets back to him... His mother, evil granpa, that teacher we have to beg, his mother and now the NOT love of his live.

I refuse to be brain washed over that grandpa... EFF him and his old age, when he told Pi-O's mother "be kinder" I have never been so triggered 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😤😤😤😤

If music is about playing and playing how you want/ how you want to present, therefore there is no wrong or right, so why is it that every other person finds something in Pio music the like except for the people who have something of sorts against him - the teacher and the grand pa they not only refuse to see any good in his music but make it their mission to bring him down and call it soulless.... It's how critics will tear apart something just for the average Joe who exist in the world to come and then love that thing...

Since then I refuse to listen to them and decide for myself knowing Pio the way I know him whether or not his music is truly soulless and I say no...

For a person who understands relogoin, tradition and what they can do to a person and then multiply that by someone who is deep deep in and struggles with God... Ticket to heaven to heaven did nothing for me... As a first it didn't go were it needed to go... In some parts of the world were religion is the glue that keep developing nations together, I can't explain how devastating it is to take it away from a person ...but then again it's his story so 🤷

He is the most beautiful human being on earth ( including my 50 000 other people) at least the OP didn't say his acting was bad then we would be on another discussion because an ability to cry freely and in a way that makes other want to cry with you without even knowing why you are crying is one of the many ways I judge acting... The one other scene that has moved me like this is Kim soo Hyun in its okay not to be okay when he was crying on the stairs begging for his brother or about his brother can't remember... But anyone can let tears role down but the ability to transfer that pain without needing to build a character back story or emotional connection is an art....

Anyway beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but the word visuals feels so so shallow and Korea most pay for it's crimes of making this a thing.

I agree with you a writer has the creative power to tell their story as is they like but unfortunately can't control how it's accepted... PS: can't remember the last time a show had me using my brain...

For me the tea isn't hot enough... It feels like a passing thought that will get lost before a person even finishes the thought... Thats how quick the scene happened. It went over people's heads and for this particular message it's not suppose to.

On the other hand it felt normalised because in their industry it's normal ( I was so angry at everyone's reaction or lack of action, but I have to remind myself this is their normal, I would have showed up at that hotel to get my actor) but I think we the viewers not reacting hard enough makes this more factual.

I also think the more I watch BL,  I I have come to realise how much abuse, many at times especially sxual has been normalised and almost seems acceptable towards the male child... Till  this day I can't watch  To My Shore past episode 4 not because of the story but the realisation as I read the comment  section that as individuals and nations when it comes to abuse of many variations we don't put as much importance/education or thought to it...

I love me some dark shows (I have watched jdramas that make me almost loose my appetite) but to accept such characters ending up together as a good ending is  the same as the characters in the movie Obsession ending up together.... And trying to converse about the drama made people feel like they are being attacked for liking the show and in turn attack you or our favourite statement "it's fiction" (I won't comment on this or we will be writing an essay, but I will say one thing the refusal to acknowledge or discuss something because it's fiction and it makes you feel personally attacked is an interesting stance to take on consuming information of any kind)

All this is to say imagine if we gave as much thought to the male child and the normalisation of abuse as all the video essays about the "nuances" of Obsession... But I appreciate this comment section because I can't remember when last a BL actually let people break down and discuss about a show other than how hot the characters are.

The real question is
1) has he been falling all this time and is about to make impact?

2) or did he just shot off and will make impact one day in the future when we least expect it??

I really really hope we get to see more of him in this grieve.... I think he is the perfect elder brother that will watch over every, do his duties and then one day out off nowhere just explode silently or loudly but it will be out of his control...

But sadly it is still brushed over easily... I have come to realise that unless the atrocity happens to the main characters it is brushed aside very quickly... I think this is also why the reaction to QT fascinates me and shows the writer was not prepared for the knee jerk reaction the viewers had...

Even in Payback the impact never seems to reach the fans in such shows because the main character alway manages to "escape" magically...

A scene that really stood out to me recently was in "don't be too emotional" when the ML character attempted raping the MC ( this guy's acting was so disturbing it had people complaining about how real it felt) and then for some reason the MC is hated some more...

Disclaimer ramblings to follow...

1) I use the word pretense and I stand by it.... It's even about speaking out loud QT pretended it didn't exist and he was the false narrator of WS's love... At every chance he would remind himspef, WS, CY, QL and us about who WS loved he would sing it from the toppest mountains and the deepest seas but he was the only one, who shouted this lie. no one ever commented or disagreed with him but at the sane time only he would bring up this topic as a reminder not just to us but to WS. And if we didn't have eyes we would have taken his words for what they are...



2) I disagree he (QT) walked next to the love but not in the love, he could only accept an extension of the love by proxy of "he pays so much attention to me because of my brother" we all know that was a lie but that was how he could exist with that love. I am not saying he was unaware but what I do know is he was intelligent enough at some point to put 2 and 2 together to make 5 and then choose denail as the answer, because half of him was in a coma.

There is a difference between comforting someone who is truly breaking down in front of you in your car and holding back so much that your own pain intensifies the scene... I remember people being angry at WS for not comforting him but for me I wanted to cry for them. Imagine the person you love being in so much pain, being so close to you and yet so far away that you can't even touch them and all you can do is watch... I can't explain why WS couldn't hold QT in words but I understood fully what WS felt in that scene. Again next to each other but not together and this alone was enough.

Let me put it like this they walked next to each other but never together fully... WS walked next to QT but never with him because QT was walking with Bf, there is a reason why it was never truly we are doing things "together" but QT wants to do this, so I WS will walk next to him...

3)Love is undefined and has no conditions other than love. That is why the more I think about it for me more than love WS was a shield/gave QT a shield (I will fight the entire world for you let me be next to you/I love your brother not you so let me walk next to you) or should I say his love presented as a shield?? and that is why to get to QT you had to walked through WS, who was always next to him and was finally going to be with him (not necessarily romantically, but walking with him without pretense and QT accepting this love instead of receiving ) and then fate laughed in our faces.

4)WS showed QT love but only the parts QT could handle at the present moment in his life, and we all know if this man was let loose like his brother that love would consume QT and I would pay money to watch that even if it's a dream.

For me the scene were he wants to put the box down but can't and just goes to sit down as CY walks pass him to comfort QL while he WS holds on tightly to the box hurts...
