Personally I never viewed it as her mother is dead. I have leaned towards her being missing and they are at that…
Yes, however - it never showed her face so I am not taking it as her mother especially when they introduced the folktale of Bluebeard in episode 6. Also, her memory could be distorted as well. It's not her only memory of her "mother's" death. Remember the drowning? I mean, how many times can her mother die? Those are just my take on it and am counting down the days until the weekend lol
Just a thought, but maybe this drama really isn't for you only because everything you listed as dislikes are the…
Me too cause I was really nervous since I have been in some type of mood and no other drama has stuck with me and was afraid this would not hold up as well. However, luckily I am loving it and am pretty much obsessed with it lol.

I completely get it. Everyone has their own taste and preference and I respect that. Inner emotions are the most difficult to convey to viewers and he nails it in every role he's been in and these roles are always very different - that's why I am always in awe of him as an actor because each role he takes on I never see him as KSH or his previous role but am completely engrossed in his current role. Who knows, maybe you will "love" him (actor) by the end of this drama - or come to appreciate his acting more at least ;)
Personal toughts up till ep 6 ( i just watched the 6 first episodes these past 2 days ) :-As i said earlier here…
Just a thought, but maybe this drama really isn't for you only because everything you listed as dislikes are the very reasons that makes this drama my current favorite, with the potential of being one of my top favorites. The only thing I whole-heartedly agree to is how the FL is slaying her role.
As for KSH, he's actually my favorite actor for he fully embodies any role he takes on without leaving any traces of his previous roles in his current one. I mean his eyes and subtle facial expressions can speak louder than words. Since you don't appreciate him as an actor due to preference, this may be another reason why you are not enjoying this drama as much as I am.
The most surprising thing for me is how you feel about OJS (the big brother) in this role. This is may very well be my favorite role of his to date - it is not an easy role to take on. To be honest, I was actually nervous for him (any actor) when he took on this role but I have been nothing but impressed by him.
The writing - I can see why you would feel that in regards to the gloomy-feel. However, mental illness is not pretty to begin with and healing takes time so for me the pacing is just right and the unique scene transitions in this drama is one of my favorite things about it. The ghost part, I could be wrong here - but for me there really isn't any true ghost scenes but a portrayal of nightmares and sleep paralysis.
People at the hospital - let me spin it this way for you. Not sure if you are referring to the employees or the patients but I find the employees hilarious in their own right - how else will they get through a tough day working at a psychiatric hospital; which kind of slides right into how genuine the portrayal of these patients are - for it's not a walk in the park to connect or even truly understand mental illness fully.
Those are just my personal observation and thoughts - but if everything I love are the very thing(s) that are not pleasing for you, it really isn't the drama for you...? However, if you do continue - I hope you will end up loving or liking it more than you currently do.
I guess they cannot understand the emotions of an Actor unless he or she is giving over the top loud expression...
That's funny that you said that, I completely agree because that is what makes KSH as an actor - such a gem. He never over/under-acts. You can read it all in his eyes and subtle facial expressions.
I'm actually surprised to see negative comments about KSH's acting. Well, we all have different preferences and…
Maybe I didn’t scroll enough.. but I guess everyone does have different taste. I, for one, have always been blown away by his acting. He’s the first actor that can get me to feel all the feels. I mean while I am watching him I am completely captivated by his character that most times I don’t even get to appreciate his handsome face until a rewatch lol.. with other actors, I’m there sometimes just for their looks but sadly that alone cannot even get me to commit to complete a drama most of the time if the plot is meh. To me, KSH has an impeccable balance with his acting with the various roles he played. He has never over or under act - the perfect balance. But that’s just my two cents. I have nothing but love for this man’s talent.
I wonder if MY mother is really dead? In the first episode juri said “but your mother is still alive” and…
Personally I never viewed it as her mother is dead. I have leaned towards her being missing and they are at that time frame where the missing person can be declared dead.
I have never been so involved in a drama ! -Watching it raw live on TvN ✅- Waiting for the BTS watching raw…
LOL, I think the only thing off your list I don't do is watching it raw on tvN since it's not available where I am at and need VPN. So I replace that with killing time by making gifs :)
its only 6 episodes but already 4000 comments. U guys must be suffering a lot to wait weekend to come >
Lol, I come back to the comment section to relive it on top of rewatches and BTS clips that are not even subbed. It’s quite unhealthy to say the least lol
LMAO WHAT apparently Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji dated before but now shes dating his cousin? BRUH u literally…
rumors... it didn't even trend. Said "reporter" even has a YouTube channel that does nothing but dish out celebrity gossip - even if this was true... makes no difference for me personally lol
