So it's pretty much confirmed she suffers from sleep paralysis, right?
I would say so because it happens after she’s triggered. When her father strangled her at the hospital and most recently right after the patient claiming to be her mother.
My first drama with this director (It's Okay to Not Be Okay) and I am blown away. I hopped on here to backtrack for his previous work because I cannot get enough of IOtNBO currently. Seems there are quite a few already on my list to watch but now I have the nudge to get to them sooner.
Episode 5: Loving the build-up of this beautiful drama. It's so funny and touching all at once. I cannot even express my love for it properly. Each episode just needs to be 2 hours long!
Random thoughts as I watched today's episode:
- another awesome cameo in a completely different way - that door kick though - was Romeo & Juliet used just as reference to the setting or is there potentially a deeper meaning to it as the Moon brother's mother was murdered - It's official, I am sure the cartoon Sang-Tae watches is the foreshadowing of the drama (at least between Gang-Tae & Mun-Yeong) - Damn that scene would have been perfection if she had a patch of hair in her hand afterwards, HA! - just as I decided MY's father may be trying to protect her in his own crazy delusional way... they decided to introduce Bluebeard folktale at the end of this episode... (if you’re unfamiliar with this folktale go give it a quick google) - whoa, could it be MY's father killed the Moon brothers' mother and attempted to kill MY's mother as well (yes, attempted because one thing I still believe is her mother is "missing" and not dead.
I am sure after a rewatch, I'll be back cause this drama got me obsessed and the fairytales within this drama has my mind going a million miles a minute ? I LOVE IT!!
She’s alive , why does everyone think she’s dead? This was confirmed in ep 1
I can’t speak for others but I think I just brushed off JR’s part and only remembered MY saying she registered her mother’s death lol then eventually forgot JR even said it altogether. I just rewatched it again.. you’re right, it couldn’t have been more clear lol. However, there are lots of scenes afterwards which causes conflict to whether she is or not truly. But from the rewatch, I agree that she isn’t. We shall see!
I am really enjoying this drama and is waiting in anticipation for episode 5 and 6. I just hope that complaints…
This was my concern as well, because of the complaints from Knetz. However, they did film up to 10 that I am aware of... truly hoping they stay true to their original version.
I'm not sure who the author is behind the fairtytales written as Mun-Young in the drama but I do know this follows the drama's fairytales and these are just the first two. They will be releasing more fairytales from the drama in the near future.
