It's a good drama if you are not a fan of Bl. Don't wait any "fan service ". I didn't read the novel, from the drama, I can't see how they can be lover. Usually the director give us some hint, but here from the first minute to the last minute, they both like the same girl... They're not even "sworn brother ".

You said everything. I tried to watch it, ep 2 , I already was bored by the girl. Acting childish and as if she was married with the ml. It's always the same bad habit they do, to put a boring FL in a bl adaptation

It's not really a third party. Ji-woo need to clean his story with the girl. Perhaps he will end with her or no; but to go aghead; it's someting he has to do. The friends of the girl told him clearly that she should give up and Ji-woo... And the girl told to Ji-woo to be honest with her now they're not anymore in relationship.

First thing, all people who doesn't know the culture of others countries, please go learn a little before coming comment... how bad J is too communicate with his partners.
- That's first reason, perhaps he doesn't want to be a problem for S . - S was hard working, how can he comes, just to complain. You can see it, how hard that was for S , when he finished a shooting and back home, just to sleep 2h....
My second thing, I saw a lot of person comparing theirs lifes with the life of J.... why? It's a story with his own plots.
Well, now my ideas about the series, there's for sure a lot of things I missed. The 2 season can't be separate. You have a lot of points happened in the season 1 who can explain the season 2.
1) J is the person who will do everything to protect S without telling him ( the picture about the kiss in the season 1), and he can be hard with his words to push away S ( still in the season 1) .
2) in the season 1, J told clearly to S That's money can't be all, he left the house to pay the traitor to have the picture back, when he could have just talked about it to S. So it's a side of J that's he doesn't want the money of S. But in the season 2, we can see that S bought him a lot of stuff... until a car....
3) When they went in a " date" in the season 1, S gave to J one of his oufti.... oufti that you can clearly see on the bed the day S finally found him. That's I think one of the reason S didn't give up after hearing his harsh words. And you can see later than S returns the oufti to J... he accepted directly without a word , when he still refused the car.
4) In the season 1, we understand that S has a trauma about the accident with his parents, we can still see in the season 2, that every time J is taking care that any noise troubles S.
Well there's a lot of little things like that who can explain the reason why S was still trying to understand J , he's not a masochist, just in love and doesn't understand why the person who love him too left. ( Until the end of the season 2, when he understand that J can understand how he's feeling because he already had a heartbreaking before he met him and has to clean that.) .
=Well let's try to understand the message about " I was lonely with you" and ' I was happy with you ".
I think that J was lonely because he was really in love with S. He was a lot alone because of the schedule of S, and during this time he feels alone to not to be with the person he loves. You can see in the memories of S, than more they're going in time in their relationship more J becomes sad. In the end we can say that S was always giving to him some gifts when J wanted just time with him. That's how I see the sentence because J said to him that was hard for him to take care of him when S has an imperfection on in skin, or when his shooting was hard. We understood that J is a Tsundere, so he was clearly telling him...that's the the moment I liked spent with you. ( well that's how I see it).
About the sentence to her ex-girlfriend, J said he was happy with her because he was able to cook... and in the same time he apologies that he couldn't do it for her. I see that a lot thinks that he's saying he couldn't have sex with her but for me he's telling her " you give me everything that can be feels me happy thanks but I couldn't do the same for you..." in my point on view " it's I couldn't love you like you and do everything for you to be happy "... and that's why he's not mad about her last message.... she just left him with a message but I didn't see him to be really mad to her.... he's nice to her so proof for me that he didn't love her ( let's not forget his personality).
We can also take car about how J is looking S and how he's looking her ex-girlfriend... there's a big difference.
About the kiss in the episode 4... J tell him... clearly... " Don't be so honest I can't ignore you".... well, it's simple.... he can resist to S because he loves him.... but Let’s back the night after.... S cooked for him and was waiting for him to back home.... J asked him clearly if that will be like that from now.... S didn't give him clearly a reply and with the carrier of S that's impossible for them to leave like that.... Then J suggest him to be sex friends but that he will not be his partner..... yeah that's hard to hear but in was showing the reality to S.
Some others point get already noticed in some comments ( about the village, the name of the restaurant, and why J doesn't want that S come closer to that people).
Now there's still something than J never tell directlyto S...but nobody talked about it 😉 If you understand how his ex-girlfriend left him... how he left S ... I think that's clear.
That doesn't mean that the will finish together because I think that J is ready to do everything for S to be happy ( difference with his ex-girlfriend),
But still actors was good, even actress...
