Have you read the novel? It has a lot of NC scences, so to be true to the novel, they'd be necessary to portray the intense love and obsession between Bai Lou Yin and Gu Hai.

I didn't recognize him either! I had to look up the cast because I thought it was him but wasn't certain.

Read the novel while waiting for s2. It may help. It's Gu Hai and Bai Lou Yin..but it's what this show is based off of.

It's as BL as it can get considering it's a Chinese series.

SH and JS can't be blamed for HJin's actions. SH's advice was actually just to clear up any misunderstandings about feelings, i.e. tell JW that he doesn't have romantic feelings. They never said to tell him that he would rather stay home then go on the date. And, even if they did give that advice, which they didn't, HJin is a grown ass man and ultimately makes his own decisions.

I think he's stupid. Very, very stupid and inconsiderate.
