The subtitles on iqiyi were garbage! I've watched several shows on this platform. This is the first one that wasn't very good!

Santa and Earth are acting their assess off in this series. Pairing them together was very smart. They seem to have a strong friendship outside of filming, so to pull off such affection for each other and intimate moments are probably comfortable and second nature.

I do think it is set in the past. Did you see their cell phones? And Cake was talking to Rin through MSN messenger. I have know idea how old that is. Also, I think the warm tone filter also hints "past". But what do I know. LOL

Do you think P'Payu could be P'Pakin? I don't see any actor assigned to that role in the cast, soooo I was just wondering! I could be wayy off tho.

This is one of my first and favorite BLs. Timmy and Johnny do a great job portraying Bai Lou Yin and Gu Hai.

There's a lot of comments in this thread about how unhealthy their relationship is, and the sexual assault. I'm in no way saying that is okay, but it is in the novel. In fact, season 1 ended right before the rape scene would have taken place. Gu Hai and Bai Lou Yin have a very toxic, yet loving and intense relationship throughout both novels. Read the novel, and then come back and watch the series would be my advice. It'll make more sense and hopefully you'll agree with me that the actors did a great job.

However, be aware the content of the novel is xxx rated. If that's not your sort of thing, it's best to pass.
