I know we still have a lot of episode left, but I feel like, once again, we're going in circles...this time with HY constantly getting in the way of SW and ES. I'm already tired of it. I need SW and ES to find out what she's been doing. Not just one of them, but both and to put her in her place. Wish she would get fired cause she's doing it at work, but we know that won't happen.
Maybe I'm being impatient since we're only on ep 4 but I want fl to find out she's trying to marry her sister in law to someone who has already fallen for the middle spinster sister...and her own sister in law seems to be in love with her childhood friend. I love the couple of scenes we got from them and want to see more of their complicated relationship. I'm also excited about the youngest sister's relationship with fl's brother and curious to know who will be paired with the oldest sister.
So based on the interactions so far, we can assume that the middle sister will end up with that guy whose mother…
Yes, fl is trying to marry her sister in law with the love interest of the middle sister. As for the oldest sister, I keep seeing on Twitter that she might have been in love with her female friend who died...but if that's true that will complicate things for her sisters since the oldest has to marry first.
I'm really getting tired of HY. I get that she likes SW, but he has shown zero interest in her. Now, she feels like she has the right to tell him to stop liking someone. Honestly, there's nothing likeable about her so I don't even know why EH is falling for her.
DG's mom (YH) is already falling for YJ and I'm loving it. She will be the protective mom YJ never had. I can't wait to see it. I can picture DG's brother jumping off the boat to blame DG, but didn't actually think he would get badly injured so now he's even more bitter and jealous. Falling more and more for DG. I like how he didn't fall for YR's plan and trusts YJ. Hoping the same for YJ cause in her case her ex did get to her a bit when he told her about the accident. I know it's something personal but hopefully YJ and DG talk about it so it's not used against them later.
It's interesting how after today's episode so many see it as confirmation that WH is KH and others as BG being KH. As for me, it's BG.
The way I see it, KH and WH became friends at some point after KH ranaway. Maybe WH was helping him hide just like he did with MH, but the dad found their secret place. In WH's memory someone said "father" so he'll think he was the one saying it when it was actually KH that was next to him. WH got injured but they were still able to escape and went to the hospital where the parents ended up meeting KH and adopting him. Guess it could also be true that they are half brothers and the mom is helping him hide.
BG keeps wanting to stop them from mentioning and looking for KH because he's still hiding. Like others mentioned, he looked confused about KH sending flowers because he didn't send them to her. He knew exactly where the meeting was taking place.
I get MH so desperately wants to find KH, but she hasn't stopped to think that's she's only putting him at risk. That there's a reason why he hasn't looked for her.
After he got out of jail it started getting interesting to me. Now I'm able to watch more than 2 episodes per week. I just got done with episode 31, so I should be able to finish it this week.
I got teary-eyed during the last scene, but started full on crying when JH tells GC he should hug her and how painful it must have been. No one has actually comforted her after everything she went through, most just wanted her to confirm whether she was r@ped or not.
I know some think nothing actually happened to GC and she was just testing JH, but I don't think that was the case. You could see the sadness and pain in her eyes when she told him. I just hope they get to have some happy moments together.
DG was able to confess his love to YJ and make it seem like he was just acting. Like he said, the only way for his family to accept them is to be a couple in love so he has the perfect excuse to get close to her. He'll be able to show his feelings for her without having to fake it and she'll fall in love for real.
Glad DG's mom arrived at the house and saw her son was finally able to sleep peacefully for the first time because of YJ.
Curious about the grandpa's secret. YJ might actually be part of the family. Maybe her dad had a relationship with someone that wasn't suitable, had a child and the grandpa took the baby (YJ) away. The step mom knowns it and that's why she treats her badly.
Really hoping YJ and DG fight through the obstacles together without getting separated. Hope they always trust each other when others are trying to make them doubt each other.
I'm about to start ep 3, but before that... For those who have read the webtoon, does it take long for them to get married? I know dramas end up changing things, but I'm hoping they're married for most of it.
At least we have confirmed KH is alive. When KH's friend was talking to the dad and kept trying to stop him from putting KH's name on his life insurance I knew he was still in contact with him. The friend asked his wife (MK's best friend) what they were going to tell KH, which means he didn't lose his memories.
The person that will walk up to MK at the station will be KH's dad. As for her saying "you're KH" that's going to happen when WH tells her he lost his memories. They're both going to assume he's KH, which once again feels more like he's not.
Ep 3 gave us more hints at BG being KH. The way he looks at her, RJ saying he looks familiar and the way it seemed like he was going to cry when he was listening to MH sing their song.
It could also be that KH is someone else, someone we haven't seen yet. I guess the problem is that we keep seeing it as a romantic relationship which is why some want it to be BG and others WH, but that's not the kind of relationship MK and KH had. They were friends, they were each other's support in trying to survive. There was never romance between them so as adults they don't necessarily have to fall in love. They can reunite as adults and be friends.
When Gil Chae said she was sold and abused by Barbarians, did that mean she was defiled as everyone was accusing…
I think they left it a bit vague because back then even if the barbarian didn't actually r@pe her, but lets say for example, only ripped her clothes, to everyone else and her family it would still be considered just as bad because only her husband is allowed to see her that way. GC maybe can't really answer because it didn't go all the way, but she was still seen or touched by someone other than her husband. So they left it to the viewers to decide just how far it went.
In advance they make fl husband unlikable, if he is likable person, it will make really hard to root ml, fl never…
She doesn't need to love her husband to be a good wife. She thought he was a good man and saved her back in the island so she was good to him. She never pretended to have feelings for him, you can say she might have grown to care for him but that's as far as it went. I think he has always known she was just doing her duty as a wife. That's also why he immediately assumed she ranaway, because he has always known she was in love with someone else.
I mean why was DH so surprised RT killed him? They met when she tried to kill him for the first time, yet he decided to keep her by his side. Some flashback scenes shown on episode 1 went very fast so we don't get much detail but it was clear that she tried to kill him multiple times. I guess she decided to make him fall in love with him to make it easier to get close to him and for him to drop his guard around her. So I can see DH falling in love, but he had to know killing her parents was not something she would easily forget and forgive even if she ended up falling for him too.
