It's not bad, but I just can't seem to connect with the couple. For most of the episodes SY seemed to be very uncomfortable every time SZ would get close to him. Other than thinking SZ was handsome he didn't seem to have romantic feelings for him. Now all of a sudden he seems in love and heartbroken.
I'm really trying to burn the cobwebs out of my brains with this series, so I can understand it better.....Last…
They were living in South Korea. After the divorce he moved to the Philippines with his new wife and kids. The first wife knows he moved to the Philippines that's why she's been searching for them there.
Love Kang Ha Neul's cameo. I want to see him in a similar role again, please.
The first episode took me a while to finish, but from episode 2 to the end it was great. Not a boring moment.
I think not letting us know how long MJ will be in prison was on purpose cause that way we can hope and wish they'll be a family soon and not after many years.
Amazing acting by Yuna, can't wait to see how far she goes.
Now they have officially met so we can finally move forward and things can start happening.
The ml has been the one shown to be curious about the fl so I guess it's going to bother him when she asks to forget everything and act like they don't know each other.
The couples will finally start falling in love. EG&EY and YC&CA.
EY stopped EG from eating the spicy food cause she didn't want to confirm that he might be her mom's first love. Waiting until the festival is just her excuse to delay her from confirming if it's him.
Today's episode made me even more sure EY is friends with EH's girlfriend and that's why she knows a little bit of sign language. I have never believed EY is EH's girlfriend because the love line is with EG. So EY became friends with the girlfriend in school and they both play the cello.
YC will finally know CA likes him and this is what's going to make him start seeing her differently. At first he might be a little awkward around her, but he'll start feeling things every time he sees her or she gets close to him.
EG had to mature quickly because his whole family depends on him. He has never had the chance to do things other guys his age do. In 1995 he's finally "free" to experience new things and one of them it's romance. As for the last scene, they didn't kiss. By looking at the preview I think he remembers at that moment that he's about to kiss 'SK' who is an older lady in present time so he shouldn't fall in love with her. This is why I think he won't know SK is actually EY until later because that's going to be the conflict between them that will prevent them from giving in to their feelings. Maybe they'll know by episode 13-14.
i don't think eunho referred to eunyu when he said gf, eunyu said a "friend" taught her sign language so maybe…
Yes, many believe EY is EH's girlfriend but I've always thought EY is the girlfriend's friend and they met in music school. Today's episode made me even more sure.
20 minutes into episode 9. EY still trying to find her mom's first love. She's waiting for the festival to see who will serenade her mom. Uh...the mom is already in the US which means the serenade already happened. Does she think this first love will do it again at this upcoming festival? I honestly think it'll turned up to be her dad all along.
Amazing acting from our leads! I really hope they get some awards.
Some are talking about cheating, for me nothing has happened yet to be considered cheating. In my opinion, the moment her husband abandoned her, in one of the worst possible situations, that marriage is over (yes, I know legally nothing has changed) but at this point if she does cheat I wouldn't care. That man cared more about other's opinions than what his wife must be suffering (yes, I know back then things were different).
Hate the thought that after everything GC and JH have gone through and how much they've risked their lives to get her freedom, her husband will probably come for her and guilt her into coming back. Not because he supposedly loves her, but because his pride won't let him leave her with the man she truly loves. He will come back after all the danger is gone and demand his right as a husband.
Sadly, when GC goes back with her husband everyone around them will know she was captured. In their eyes she will be a dirty woman and everyone will keep pointing it out to her and talk about her. We know her husband cares too much about what others say so he will become angry and make her life even more miserable. Someone reminded me about a scene in one of the teasers where someone is strangling GC and how it will probably be her husband and it'll be EA who finally gets to save her...and I think this person is right.
For now it looks like ep 15 will be mostly happy moments so lets enjoy that before things come crashing down.
