when ppl lost hearing they also can't hear themselves too that mean they can't talk.
It's actually not that uncommon for someone to stop speaking once they become deaf. Could be different reasons. One of them is that they choose not to.
Question. So who's the guy that's been following Choi Se Kyeong around if he isn't her father/MLs mentor?
He probably is the mentor and SK's father, but this is 1995 so he looks younger (different actor) so that's probably why EG doesn't recognize him...yet.
Usually dramas that are not ongoing take me less than a week to finish, but this one is taking me longer. I started it early September and I barely made it to episode 16. Maybe because I already know what happens I've lost some interest. I might try watching 1 or 2 episodes per week so I can actually finish it.
It might actually be a good thing that the past has changed, because now there's really a possibility for EG to prevent the accident and for his parents to still fall in love. Before they needed YC to become deaf so he can meet CA, but now they don't need the sign language school. Now they get to fall in love in H.S. and YC can still keep his hearing. Their own son will be the one teaching his parents sign language so they can communicate with each other. YC can also go to College now and give his family a better life. CA life might change too and she'll have more opportunities to continue a career she likes. SK's daughter is now in the picture. I don't dislike her cause she doesn't have all the details yet so we don't know what exactly she's planning to do. If she finds out EG is from 2023, just like her, and finds out YC and CA are his parents but doesn't care and still tries to get between then I can dislike her. For now we wait.
guys please read this and tell me your thoughts🫶🏻🥹 I Kind of just realised what’s about to happen.…
There's a scene on one of the teasers or the trailer that shows EG teaching his mom how to sign. So I do think the parents met at the school because in the original past she didn't learn sign language until she was 20 because her family didn't want her to know.
Se Kyung's daughter must know that her dad is not Yi Chan. After what Eun Gyeol told her, she just wants to find…
Yea, last week I said maybe she was going to try to fix the relationship between her mom and biological grandpa...but then the same thing applies, it'll be the granddaughter getting close to grandpa, not the real SK. Who knows. Just have to wait and see.

I haven't watched the episode but I saw some spoilers. Didn't she say her dad was cheating on her mom? So I think she's going to try to prevent her parent's from getting together and YC is her answer. If she, as her mom, dates YC then "mom" doesn't get together with "dad"
I guess it wasn't too bad for a first episode. This is definitely very different from the other drama. So from here on out I'm going to completely get SWDBS out of my mind so I don't compare them and I'll focus on just this side of the family.
but i do wonder if she knows it herself- i haven't really seen her doing sign language yet!
I was also waiting for them to meet so they could communicate using sign language, but some else pointed out that in one of the teasers EG is teaching CA sign language.
