Sometimes, during the making videos, the leads look a little awkward around each other but on screen their chemistry is amazing!! I enjoy the scenes when JH and GC are together. I love how their relationship is progressing. Sometimes I want them to just kiss already cause during war they don't know if they'll see each other again (we as viewers know they will, but the characters don't) but at the same time I like that tension between them. I'm really hoping this won't be a sad ending, but I'm already preparing myself mentally.
The Prince wasn't that annoying during this tribulation so that's good. I'm sad immortal Li is gone and a bit upset that no one noticed he was gone until XY asked...but even then they quickly forgot about him again. So the King from Heaven is actually the evil villain. He's probably the one that killed everyone 30,000 years ago but put the blame on CH. I'm guessing CK was actually fighting the King, but since he lost his memories he doesn't remember it. The King got that doomed mark because of CK and needs him to go through the tribulations, not to win but to lose. I was kind of hoping XY will stay in the mortal world a little longer since CK sacrificed himself for her. She should've kept her promise of staying alive. Anyway! At least now that their back in heaven they both know they have feelings. So we just need to wait for her answer so they can both know their feelings are real. I'm actually glad I continued watching this drama. It took me until around episode 7 to get into it, but now I actually look forward to new episodes.
Can someone explain to me what happened at the end of Ep 8? I thought PKY successfully escaped because of the…
He was drugged by the hospital staff working for Jung Sook. He knows they're going to kill him so he was trying to signal Jin Seong to help him. In this case it's better to be arrested than killed.
I enjoyed this drama. There were a few things they didn't really answer like others have mentioned, but I guess it's ok. I kind of feel bad for KS and WJ. They were each other's first love and it seems she had been waiting for him all these years. Now they're together again but have to stay as friends.
At least CK has realized there's something going on with the Prince. So I'm guessing CK will be the first one to die during this tribulation which I'm kind of looking forward to. I want to see them back in heaven and how much progress they have made with accepting their feelings
Took me a while but I made it to the halfway point. Lately I find myself yawning most of the time. Since I made it this far I want to make it to the end. I might have to watch just one episode per week, that seems more doable.
He drank it. This is why he does not know when he will die.... It was their agreement after all and the reason…
He didn't. They mentioned DS was supposed to stab him in the bite mark but WH didn't know that so he stabbed himself in the heart. That's why DS mentions he doesn't know when he'll die so he's been donating his money to help others with heart problems.
I'm glad SH told DH her secret this early on cause at least that's not going to be used against her to separate them once they're together. Now he can decide if he wants to continue getting to know her knowing she can tell if he lies to her. Her sharing her secret might make him share his and they can find out the truth together.
The way I saw it, WH didn't come back. IH is the one imagining him at the balcony because she's still waiting for him. She's smiling because she believes they'll be reunited one day. Honestly when they showed him inside the coffin I thought they would give us a scene like episode 1 where she opens the coffin and he wakes up finally a human. I understand why some dramas give us a sad ending or an open ending, but this drama had enough fantasy elements to give us an ending where he becomes human and they both are alive. Either way, I still enjoyed the drama, just wish we could've gotten that happy ending.
Im just curious, are people really expecting dramas to "peak" after one episode? The quick fix generation is nuts...…
Some seem to drop them if they don't like the first one. I usually give it a few episodes before I decide. Most of the time even if it never fully catches my attention, I still finish it.
Ok I finally watched episode 2 and it was a lot better than episode 1. The first one took me a long time to finish, but today's actually kept my attention. I haven't actually laughed yet, but the mystery part it's what's keeping me here.
How is it that the aunt showed more interest in Jin Hee than her own father? She actually looked happy to bump into Jin Hee and...uh...stole her picture.
I was really hoping to see more of Jin Hee and Jae Won but looks like that's not going to happen.
