i don't think eunho referred to eunyu when he said gf, eunyu said a "friend" taught her sign language so maybe…
Yes, many believe EY is EH's girlfriend but I've always thought EY is the girlfriend's friend and they met in music school. Today's episode made me even more sure.
20 minutes into episode 9. EY still trying to find her mom's first love. She's waiting for the festival to see who will serenade her mom. Uh...the mom is already in the US which means the serenade already happened. Does she think this first love will do it again at this upcoming festival? I honestly think it'll turned up to be her dad all along.
Amazing acting from our leads! I really hope they get some awards.
Some are talking about cheating, for me nothing has happened yet to be considered cheating. In my opinion, the moment her husband abandoned her, in one of the worst possible situations, that marriage is over (yes, I know legally nothing has changed) but at this point if she does cheat I wouldn't care. That man cared more about other's opinions than what his wife must be suffering (yes, I know back then things were different).
Hate the thought that after everything GC and JH have gone through and how much they've risked their lives to get her freedom, her husband will probably come for her and guilt her into coming back. Not because he supposedly loves her, but because his pride won't let him leave her with the man she truly loves. He will come back after all the danger is gone and demand his right as a husband.
Sadly, when GC goes back with her husband everyone around them will know she was captured. In their eyes she will be a dirty woman and everyone will keep pointing it out to her and talk about her. We know her husband cares too much about what others say so he will become angry and make her life even more miserable. Someone reminded me about a scene in one of the teasers where someone is strangling GC and how it will probably be her husband and it'll be EA who finally gets to save her...and I think this person is right.
For now it looks like ep 15 will be mostly happy moments so lets enjoy that before things come crashing down.
I think they said it would take GC a month to get to Simyang and then her husband also mentioned traveling for a month. So it took GC a month, then YJ & RE went and came back so 2 months, then the husband went and came back so another 2 months and now RE went so that's another month. So does that mean it's been around 6 months since GC was taken?
EJ and NKM did an amazing job during that last scene of episode 13. You could feel and see the pain GC and JH were experiencing during that moment they got reunited. So many things behind those 'why'...why are you here? Why are you suffering like this? Why aren't you having the happy life you left me for? Why didn't I take you with me? Why didn't I come back for you? Why didn't I check if you were ok? Why didn't I know you were here? Why did you hide from me? Why didn't you ask me for help? There was so much pain in that scene.
This is my first drama of NKM and he has surprised me with his acting in so many different scenes. I'm definitely going to start checking out some of his other dramas.
I don't even want to think about the princess cause I feel like JH will trade his body to have her help GC. Just hope he's able to help GC without the princess' help.
I don't know why but I think that guy that was shot multiple times is somehow going to survive. They always made him seem invincible so catching him off guard by drugging him feels too easy. So I think he'll come back and kill Jayden.
I live in the US ,too and I think one episode a week is not enough! The drama gets to be too long!
Like I said, I'm used to it. The US shows I watch have 20+ episodes each season and I've been watching them for years. So watching a drama for 13 weeks it's not bad.
Only 3 episodes in and it's already becoming one of my favorite.
I live in the US so I'm used to shows being one episode per week so I don't mind it that much.
I like that HN found out early on that SW doesn't actually hate her. She now knows and understands him so she's able to see him in a new light. It seems like she's already starting to catch feelings for SW. She seemed happy to go with him to buy the gift instead of BG.
I'm curious to know who made each parent think the other ranaway. I thought maybe the mom's sister wanted her to leave her children behind so she could remarry without any "baggage" but if that was the case she probably wouldn't be so supportive about her sister finding her children. The current wife truly seems to think the ex wife left her children behind so it's probably not her. So who could it be??
I guess it hasn't crossed EY's mind that her dad is about to move to the US where he'll be reunited with her mom which leads to their marriage and she won't be there to actually stop them.
So happy EG and CA are finally together. Very emotional scenes between them. EG crying because now he knows some of the stuff his mom went through. I like how it was his mom who taught him sign language and now it's his turn to teach her.
We know there's going to be romance between EG and EY, it's very clear and this is why they won't know they both are time travelers until almost the end. This is going to be their conflict, thinking that they're falling in love with someone from the past, someone they won't/can't be with in present time.
Previews are always misleading and we know EG is not going to tell EY about his parents.
EY keeps trying to find her mom's first love and it'll end up being her dad all along. Her parents were happy at some point in the relationship so of course her mom looks and sounds happy when she talks about her first love, because those are happy memories. The parents relationship turned sour when SK became obsessed with having EY achieve the dreams she couldn't. In the flashbacks EY's dad (JH) seems like a good person. He was the one that would give EY a bit of freedom, the one that would take her out and help her be a "normal" child even for just a moment. JH wanted a divorce and take EY with him, but SK didn't let him so they stayed together and the relationship got worse until finally they separated when SK and EY went back to Korea. So I guess in a way I don't really see it as her dad cheating because that relationship was over for a few years. But anyway, what I'm saying is that her dad is the one EY needs to find, but the change she would have to make is for her mom to continue her career even after marriage.
Saw a few spoilers for ep 8 so I can't wait to watch it later today cause I'm so ready for EG and CA to meet.
The ending of episode 12 will be the same as episode 11. They make it seem like he finally saw GC, but he didn't. He's trying to help the people escape but he won't know the lady in green is GC. It will be until the scene in the preview where RE tells him that GC was kidnapped. Then JH will go look for her. I have a feeling her husband is going to die on his way to rescue her.
