I decided to watch this for 2 reasons. The main one is Park Bo Gum. The second, cause this is the year I was born so I thought it would be nice to see how things were during that year.
I've watched the first 3 episodes, but BG is barely there. I heard it'll be like this for the first 6p and then he'll show up more.
I'm still not really into it yet, but I'm only starting so I'll give it a few more episodes.
I am annoyed by the older sister who is always being so violent towards the fl. I'm also trying to get used to all the screaming.
jang ukyul may love naksu but you cant deny how much he cares for jang uk
I saw it as him not telling MD he's talking about her so that she can promise to help him and when the time comes she can't say no to him taking her away cause that would break her promise.
I still have my doubts about Master Lee being a soul shifter. I think he just said that because he wanted to see the reaction of everyone, specifically the Queen. Now Uk and Yul know Master Lee has always know MD/Naksu is a soul shifter but stayed quiet.
Yes, I wanted the battle between Uk and Yul to be a little longer but I still liked it.
We got jealous Uk and jealous MD in one episode so I'm happy 🙈 I'm bad with names, but the granddaughter of the master, I'm trying not to dislike her cause I know she has no clue that Uk and MD like each other but I still can't help feeling annoyed. At least she indirectly helped Uk know that MD is jealous. MD was definitely not expecting that kiss so I'm ok with her not kissing back cause she was shocked. Love how Uk told her he was following his master's teaching and attacking when his opponent was least expecting it so we're slowly moving forward. We just need MD to finally give in to her feelings and not fight them so much.
The first 2 episodes kept me entertained. I'm not into webtoons, I've tried reading some but I always drop them so I'm glad I'll get to see a side of something new for me.
I know the webtoon has no romance, but I'm sure they'll add some for the drama. I agree with some comments I read about wanting JH to stay as her mentor and not turn their relationship into romance. I guess if they do add romance then ME and JY would be the couple I would like to see. Like JH said, they are polar opposites so it would be interesting to see them adapt to each other. I did not see him interested in the webtoon artist, he looked more annoyed to me than anything...while with ME there was a moment there by the bridge where he looked at her differently and he thought she might kiss him (that's how it looked to me).
Hmm, everyone seems to be forgetting that GJY was smitten with Bbomme when he first saw her. And now she is wanting…
To me it looked more like the moment were they see each other for the first time was just to fool us viewers into thinking we were getting a future couple and then seconds later they showed us the truth of him actually being annoyed by her.
So from the preview seems Jang Uk probably lost. Would've been very weird if he won.
From the preview it looks more like Uk wins. The CP is not happy. He tells MD that she has to lose something too so he throws the jade in the dirty water. To me that looks like he's angry that he wasn't able to separate them so he wants to at least take away their jades.
I'm starting this one because I need a new drama and many seem to be talking about this one because of the leads. I've seen maybe 2 of his dramas and I haven't seen any of hers so this will be my intro to this actress. Hoping this is a good one.
Just finished it. I can't believe I put it off this long. I was glad to see how they always talked about what they were thinking and feeling. They stayed together through the obstacles and I was loving it! Then of course they just had to add the breakup like they always do (at least most of the time) in dramas. I was so angry at his mom. I know she's worried and she has the right to be, but her getting involved was not the way to help. He's old enough to make his own decisions. He knows is going to be difficult and he doesn't care...but she had to go and ruin things. I'm glad things worked out in the end for them. They were honestly a very cute couple. Glad I changed my mind and took a chance at this drama.
Wow the mom of the 'victim' is scary. I get that she wants to protect her daughter but from the way it looked to me she's overdoing it. He may have been a bad guy before but it seems like he did fall in love this time. She knew since the beginning about his past and didn't care, she still fell in love but sadly she wasn't able to help him.
OMG!! Our lead couple!!! I actually screamed when she kissed him, I have never done that before. When I saw the pictures they released I thought they would get interrupted or she was going to kiss his cheek but nooooo she went for it! She may not be able to hold his hand for more than a few seconds but it looks like kissing is not a problem. I like how he was letting her take the lead, he wasn't forcing her at all, just letting her take her time.
Looks like we'll be getting cute secret office romance in the next episode.
As for the biological mom...I hate her. I should've know she would try to send her away but I wanted to give her the benefits of the doubt.
I fall in love more and more with this drama every time I watch a new episode
I get and understand why he did it cause I felt so bad for those kids. They're taking away their childhood but it's still wrong what he did.
I didn't think Woo would be thinking about JH not responding to her confession. I honestly thought she forgot, but I was wrong. It was cute seeing her being nice to JH and him being all confused.
JH hesitating to confess his feelings is understandable. He knows things are not going to be easy. This isn't going to be like any other relationship he might have had before. He didn't want to just jump into it without thinking of the consequences. The moment he figured out this is something he truly wants, that his feelings are serious and real he couldn't wait any longer. His confession was such a cute scene and I think we all know she's most likely going to run away again...which is ok, this is a new feeling for her and in her life she probably never thought someone might like her romantically.
From the preview it looks like they'll get a case that's going to make her realize some stuff about their relationship that she didn't think about. Hopefully instead of hurting them it can help them make what they have something stronger.
The reason why I started this one was because of the age gap since I'm in a relationship were there's a big age difference.
At the beginning of the serie you can see that Ton is attracted to her since the moment he saw her. He kept flirting with her but she never showed any interest in him at all. Them "sleeping together" when they were drunk didn't even seem believable to me. On top of that, they even gave us a fake kiss cause you can clearly see it was all angles, but its ok is not like I'm watching this for the kiss scenes.
Anyway, as I was saying she didn't seem interested in him at all. It was until he started ignoring her that she looked annoyed. Throughout the series they didn't look like 2 people in a relationship. I feel like the problem was not in the story, but more like the actors not being comfortable around each other to be able to act like 2 people falling in love. I could be wrong, but that's what it felt like to me.
Even with all of that, I still think the story is cute and I did like it...I was just expecting a little more. I'm giving it an 8 cause it did keep me entertained.
And its over. I actually liked it. I don't think there was an episode where I felt bored. To me it didn't feel draggy.
I cried with him when they found his sister and dad. They're finally able to come home.
I know some are wondering why the killer did all of this. I think some killers don't have an actual reason to kill someone other than just doing it because they want to. In this case it was easy to get 2 girls with the help of the stalker. Some wonder why he didn't do it again during those 18 years...I don't remember the episode or his exact words but I think he said he was controlling his urges (maybe cause now people actually knew him in the neighborhood) but they were coming back and he didn't want to stop himself anymore.
The ost playing when GH is in the car talking with his mom, you can hear a little girl singing too. Has it always been like that and I never noticed?? Or did they have the twin sister sing it too just for that scene??
Who is the main lead, i don't understand...Daniel or yoon su
I think the lead would be Daniel. If you're talking about romance from what I heard the webtoon doesn't have it. I've seen some comment that if they do include romance in the drama it seems it would be Yoon Su, but who knows.
