I'm glad SR finally told HG the truth. I hope instead of just saying "mom!" That she can actually put a stop to her cause she just lets her continue talking. She lets her go on and on about this being just pity and not love. It's time for SR to get a job and move out so she can finally be free to make her own decisions. Hopefully HG won't listen to her mom and finally move on. His friend seems better suited for him.
I just can't seem to warm up to the dancer and hairdresser. She does too much for someone that doesn't have feelings for her.
As for the leads, I don't have much to say. I like how things are progressing between them but the mom is going to be a problem which is not surprising at all.
That's the wrong time to kiss her for the first time cause it does look like he's only doing it because the ex is there. They showed us how he fell for Bani the moment he saw her for the first time but now that the ex is here he hesitates too much. Immediate action is needed against the ex.
We still have 8 episodes left so have a feeling he's going to break her heart by making her believe he betrayed her. One of those "I'm lying to protect you" kind of plots. Also have a feeling she'll end up pregnant which will put her at risk of others finding out she's a woman.
Kang Cheol (chul) possesses Yun Gap's body for two reasons. First was to preserve it. He stated that it had started…
It's neither of those reasons. The only reason he possessed the body was so he could touch The Ghostbane Stone and be able to finally take it away from her cause that's the only protection she has against him. He even said he was only borrowing the body for a moment before it rots. That's why as soon as he threw the stone away he tried to leave YG's body but couldn't.
I wanted to watch this drama when it was ongoing but I wasn't able to. Glad I finally got time to watch it. I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. It's refreshing to see the lead couple get together pretty early on (ep 2) and stayed together throughout the whole drama without unnecessary breakups. There was just one small argument at the beginning where she ended up staying with her parents but that got solved quickly. I liked how they learned to communicate with each other, they supported each other and they trusted each other.
I loved the second couple. The whole bickering at work was fun to watch and how they ended up falling for each other.
The third couple was left with an open ending. They come from 2 different worlds and things could work out if they put the effort. The thing is, she's used to having money and having a lifestyle that she doesn't want to fully give up. He on the other hand works hard but will not be able to continue giving her the lifestyle she's used to and he of course doesn't want to live off of her father's money. They're just not meant to be.
It's one of those dramas where I'm watching, then I blink and a few minutes have already gone by cause I ended up falling asleep. Like right now that I was watching ep 7... I saw the leads in one elevator, the second leads in another elevator, I blinked and next thing I see is the men following some acupuncture doctor and the women following an older lady and I have no idea why. The same thing has happened on previous episodes and I don't even feel that desire to go back and see what I missed. I should probably give up already.
All done. Did it get on my nerves and get me annoyed many times? Yes, but that's not enough for me to hate the drama or drop it. I got my training growing up watching Mexican novelas so this is nothing. It kept me entertained for the full 28 episodes. I do wish they didn't spend so much time in the past, for them to communicate better in the present and to actually see them happy together for more than one episode.
As for MM and QC...I was looking forward to seeing them together but everything felt rushed. They didn't even date in the past but they got together pretty quickly in present time even though she was going through her divorce. Then we get hit with the whole cancer thing, which was unnecessary, then engaged. Again, if they had cut some of the scenes from the past and focused more on present time they could've taken the time to build that relationship again.
Anyway, I don't regret watching it and I'm leaving it as an 8/10.
I never understand plots like this cos why did he have to break up with FL because he’s in debt whatever but…
Not that I agree with breaking up but I can see why he did it. For years she has suffered because of money she owed her uncle and him always sending her to court to have her pay it back. She finally paid it back and was free from it while he was about to start his own suffering for pretty much the same thing but instead of thousands in debt it was millions. Once she knows the truth she even admits their relationship would've suffered and eventually end. The difference with CX is that she has money of her own. She wouldn't really be suffering, she would just be helping him get back on his feet.
It gets on my nerves seeing GY always looking or waiting for ZT just to have her walk by him without saying anything. He keeps chasing and she keeps ignoring. How exactly are they expecting me to cheer for them to be together? We don't even have that many episodes left. GY still needs to find out about ZT's mom or they wouldn't have mentioned it before. We still have to get Mr. Wang's confession and either have ZT use him so GY gives up on her or have her reject him. I do wonder what exactly is going to happen to get her to finally give in and get back together with GY, cause we know it's going to happen. Is he going to almost die? Is that what it's going to take? Mr. Wang is going to hurt him or he's going to have an accident?
Ok, I just watch the preview. So Mr. Wang going after LT to ruin GY is probably what will make ZT choose GY and eventually get back together. Did they really need to add the cancer for MM? Now she's going to reject Mr. Qin's proposal. Hopefully she tells him what's going on and not hide it from him.
Even though were almost at the halfway point, I think the preview will be misleading and DS is not going to know it was Silla Brewery who sent that woman.
Happy to see DS is not fighting his feelings for GS. He seems to have accepted them and is just waiting for the right time.
I knew there was no way HG didn't notice how unhappy SR looked every time the marriage was mentioned. Hopefully she finally tells him next episode. She probably won't say she likes someone else, maybe just not wanting to marry him. Now that BS is going to find out who the mom is he's going to be pushing SR away even more.
Hopefully HG won't listen to her mom and finally move on. His friend seems better suited for him.

Thank you for giving HS a new hairstyle!
