ZT's boss is only using her cause she's GY's weakness but he'll become interested in her too. Looks like in ep 20 he'll be creating problems for GY and when it starts getting bad ZT will probably finally learn everything he went through 6/7 years ago and know the real reason he broke up with her. Maybe this is when she'll start helping him solve the problem to keep him from suffering again.

Up to the end of ep 18 ML still believes FL is married because he did go looking for her and ran into FS who made him think they were married and even talking about having children.

Haven't watched ep 18 yet but I saw the preview for ep 19 and at least it didn't take too many episodes for them to find out she never got married and he was never with CX.

I do understand wanting to break up. GY is going through so much right now. His debt is not thousands, but millions and probably even more to come if there's others wanting $ back. His own dad trying to sue him. His mom in a coma that she might not wake up from. Everything is just piling up on him. I did say yesterday that he should tell her what's going on so she can decide if she wants to stay or not. But at the same time I get why he didn't. For years she's had her uncle coming after her to pay him back which cause her to have a difficult life and now she has finally paid it off. After years she has finally gotten some sense of relief and peace in her life and he would be taking it all away if he shares what he's going through. Then again, he just completely broke her heart so she still ended up suffering. At the same time, he has proven his love for her over and over. He has shown signs that something serious was going on with him and he didn't actually say he cheated so there should be enough trust there to know he wouldn't do something like that to her. Anyway! The breakup happened and I'm not going to hate on him or her for the decisions they made because I have never been in a situation like that so I don't know how I would react. I can say I would never do it, but that's not the same as actually experiencing it and having your emotions involved in that kind of decision.

As for the second couple, that's not a couple...yet. MM is sad because Mr. Qin didn't ask her to stay. She had just shared with him everything she wants to accomplish before she's 35 so how exactly is she expecting him to ask her to stay after all she said? If he does then he'll be the person that stopped her from going after her goals/dreams. I know at the end they'll be together but for now she'll be getting married to someone else and having her daughter so I have to patiently wait.

Yes, she married that friend that offered her to go to New York.

I kinda remember seeing somewhere that Mr. Qin was not in the novel, but I could be wrong.

You know what, I don't regret watching it. It was pretty obvious this would have an OE so I was already ready for it. I do wish they could've at least cleared up the last misunderstanding of him being married and her engaged.
2nd couple was a bigger mess. The only ones with a HE was the 3rd couple.
Anyway! I'm leaving it as an 8 cause I kept coming back every day to watch the new episodes.

She finds out she's pregnant at the exact moment she gets a pain in her stomach and she's bleeding. The doctor tells him to save her they have to end the pregnancy. She ends up hating him for making that decision. At least that's what I understood without subtitles. This happens in ep 18

Exactly what he didn't want he ended up doing. He forced her and now, according to her, after nights and days of being with him she has started to fall for him. Sounds like at some point she let go and gave into it but still wants to leave. I have a feeling he'll end up dying at the end. Maybe giving his life to save her.

From what I was told, in the novel she does marry FS but it doesn't last long, probably cause she married him without having feelings for him. Don't know if there's someone else interested in her.

If this really only has 8 episodes they better not have them break up for most of the final episode.
She knows how she's the only one by his side, his only support and she still thinks it's best to break his heart and leave him all alone to deal with his crazy family.

I have never liked ZT's mom but she's getting on my nerves this episode. She keeps asking for more and more. They were finally starting to have a good and comfortable life. They have a nice place to live and their own car and here comes mom wanting them to buy a house. Not even a house they picked, but a house she picked. Now she wants his parents to sell their retirement home just to help with the down-payment. His parents have struggled for years to earn money and finally retire and this woman wants them to pretty much start over at their age.
Maybe it's a culture things, but parents don't have to buy or help buy their children's home. It is up to the couple to work hard to pay for it.
They need to break up already. They're just not meant to be. I do hope they never get back together in present time.

With everything that's going on in his family and how this is just the beginning of how difficult things are going to get, I can understand wanting to break up with her because he won't be able to focus on anything else. The problem is that he should tell her exactly what's going on. Make her see and understand that he's probably not going to have time or money to go see her at all. That there's people that will be coming after him to get their money back. She knows exactly what that's like. Then it'll be her choice to accept being in that kind of relationship or agreeing to the breakup up.

The old man made a bet with 2FL to see if her boyfriend would choose her over money. If he takes the money she has to go with the old man. At first the boyfriend rejected the money but couldn't stop thinking about the amount and obsessed over how much work he had to do to even earn that amount. In the end the old man doubled the amount and when she got home the boyfriend seemed happy and told her they could take the money and run back to their hometown and start their own business. She was sad and disappointed and told him she wasn't leaving. So they broke up and she left with the old man since that was the bet.

Ep 20. It did cross my mind that the second couple would plan to take the money and run away, but they would come up with it together and not just him. In a previous episode it was mentioned that they are together in present time. If it was me, I wouldn't get back together with someone that chose $ over me. Anyway! Now that she lost the bet and has to go with the old man, I hope we don't actually get to see her in a with him.

Sometimes I like watching something toxic and this is giving me exactly what I was looking for.

Everyone has different taste and this might not be the type of drama some want to see. If that's the case then it's best to move on to something else.
