It is better for each person to have their own series so that each character can take their time.
I've been thinking about this for a long time and have talked to my friend about it for years. Thailand has a tendency to overdo things, especially by including too many couples in a series. Sometimes, they really need to focus on just one main couple, but they wonβt.
Cheers π₯ to us waiting for it to finnish airing and then binge watch......Stay strong.
Good luck, I kept seeing clips on tiktok and I caved. I think you have to wait maybe 4 more weeks. There is 4 more episodes left, maybe a special if Thailand releases one.
Ikr they couldβve just made another whole damn melodramatic series having REN and chiaki as main leads LOLπ.Atp…
I was telling my friend if the Japanese studios and writers wanted to make a more realistic, melodramatic series they went about it the wrong way. They still used the way the korean drama took place order wise but changed the whole plot basically and made it about Ren's struggles with Chiaki. If they wanted us to feel something for her it didnt turn out they way they wanted for a good amount of us who ended up hating this version. I told her they should've just started the series completely different with showing the end of a relationship between Ren and Chiaki. The struggle of Chiaki dealing with cancer in the 1st few eps and Ren's struggles of feeling guilt and maybe petty cuz his childhood friend had cancer the whole time they knew each other and he probably felt obligated to date Chiaki or if he did like her at one point he doesnt anymore. Then you see him still feeling obligated to still be there for her out of loyalty and other reasons, he wasnt even a playboy in the Japanese version from what I witnessed or understood. He just so happened to be very popular with everyone mostly cuz hes handsome but you didnt really see him flirting with other women, he actually took time to flirt with Miu. I feel like he doesnt know what he wants cuz of his obligations towards Chiaki but he wants to feel something plus he also witnessed what happened to Miu at the gallery so he wanted to help her. I feel like if they weren't trying to follow the episodes plot order like they did people probably would of felt something more.
Same, I knew I should had stopped when I saw how different the 1st ep was, I normally drop things but sometimes…
I dont think Ren the male lead in romantically in love with Chiaki, if he had feelings for her at some point they fizzled or he dated her out of the fact she has cancer. Whatever is going in between them they are still friends but his ex gf Chiaki was for sure using her illness in her favor. I understand her character is sick and dying but she was just being selfish and regardless if Ren felt romantic feelings for her or not is confusing. He probably felt pressure and guilt over the fact his dying ex gf was going to die among other things. He didnt really come off as a playboy in my eyes in the Japanese version. He was popular but there wasnt any sings that I noticed that he was messing with other women. It just looked like he went from giving all of his attention to his ex when they are dating to still giving it to her cuz she became terminal. I feel like he was using Miu who is supposed to be the female lead cuz he was desperate over what was going on in his life, he might have some feelings for her which arent clear as of yet and i won't find out any time soon. I dropped it, i couldn't handle watching this train wreck of a show. It is clear he used Miu and it seemed he pitted her especially cuz witnessed how Mius ex bf treated her in the 1st ep. Ren did help Miu destroy the statue her ex bf made later on in the series when Miu took him into a store room where they kept discarded artwork the artist made they didnt want. So he started smashing it.
This whole season Minato is even worse than season 1.In all of the show he's just pushing Shintaro away whenever…
He wasn't even a tsudere. That would of required him to actually show more affection then he did. He was hot & cold the whole season and gay panicked a lot messing with Katsuki Shintaro emotions. I'm surprised he stayed that long tbh. Minato wasn't ready to be in a relationship, he didn't know what he wanted period. He was dealing with a lot before Katsuki rocked his world.
I watch (part of) the first episode and understood that this version would not please me. now I understand why…
Same, I knew I should had stopped when I saw how different the 1st ep was, I normally drop things but sometimes I'm to optimistic for my own good. I really wanted to give this a fair chance but it let me down so hard when they finally got to his childhood friend/ex gf. I was curious to see what they where going to do with their history, especially when the Korean one wasn't as dramatic, I legit didn't see coming they where going to kill her off with the most over used plot ever. The script writer really made it about them the whole time and not Miu. I'm extremely disappointed, I had to stop watching cuz I was so furious.
