The ending was fine. I have no complaints as such. It's just that it could have come much earlier than It's original…
I'll give it a chance thanks for responding to my question. Also I agree sometimes shows need to be shorter as in length wise and ep wise sometimes cuz they add to much filler. While some shows are to short and could of been longer. I'm currently watching a cdrama where the eps are probably 10 mins max and they split it into 24 eps when it is probably a 8/10 ep minimum and I feel like 10 eps is pushing for the number of eps needed cuz if you where to merge a few 10 eps into them you can probably make at least a few 30 min to an hr length each instead of having them be around 10 mins.
not done yet but they should have just merged most of the episodes together cuz of how short they are. Instead of 24, this could have been an 8 to 10 ep max and 10 is pushing it.
I totally agree with you Jin Ah's mother was extremely manipulative and abusive. She bullied everyone around her cuz she's a social climber and she even owned up to it. Jin Ah and Joon Hee are all adults as you said Jin Ah is over 30 and Joon Hee is over 20 passed mid 20s but like you said Jin Ah's mom treated her like she was a kid. I kept having to tell myself that this is a different culture and society. Things are changing there in Korea but with how Jin Ah's mother was acting you would think this was the late 1890s to early 1900's when you needed to marry off your child to the most richest and most powerful family. Even back then it was crazy but Jin Ah is working and we don't need to marry rich and powerful families to get ahead in life and support our family like it was over 100+ yrs ago. Her mother knowing this didn't care which was so annoying to watch especially cuz everyone around her kept telling her to stop but she didn't give a fuck if it upset people. I'm surprised her husband didn't have the urge to divorce her. It almost took away from Jin Ah's and Joon Hee beautiful relationship. I also agree the ending was meh, I feel like the writers got too caught up with making the mother a villain they rushed the ending to it was lack luster.
Each episode is far too long and nothing much would have been lost if they had made them to last about 50 minutes…
For real tho, I've seen better shows that last 15 mins or less when you exclude the intro and outro and I'm talking about "30 min episodes". Those shows could of use more time that this show ate up just to make it long for not reason. this show had to depth to it. I had to drop it cuz it was so boring.
How would you describe the ending? Good or mid? I've been very disappointed/dissatisfied with some dramas even the good endings cuz near the end the writers didn't seem to get it together when they had to and sometimes felt rushed/sloppy. I've already been let down in the last 3 or 4 series.
dramanice, dramacool, kissasain are places just in case no one uploads it on streaming services. Hell, you might be lucky and if the network who made the drama has a youtube channel they might have it. I've noticed over the yrs that these networks just dump the shows on yt. You just need to put in a lot of work to find it. I noticed that a common occurrence with Chinese dramas they end up on yt.
So I'm guessing by the title of the review it was an open ending? If so I'm glad you have been the 1st person to address it cuz I hate open endings and bad/sad endings.
