I just finished reading the novel and I can say it's much better than the drama hahahah. No Lishu being a pain in the ass, she is hardly ever mentioned. Also no debt, no breakup, no illness. All the annoying aspects of the drama aren't in the book. And I thought the drama was good since it was my second chinese drama and I could remember everything since 2016 hehehe, but the book is another level and there are also spin off with good scenes. Really recomended. to read.
