How is the quality? Specifically the acting. Cdramas can lack in that aspect
It's my first time watching the lead actress but I gotta say she slays her character. I also had doubts about ML because he was too young for this role and for FL but he is good to the point that I forgot how old he was lol. The side characters are amazing too. 1st and 2nd questions are connected. For someone who as smart as him, he sure knows who she is, even from the beginning. That's why he said sometimes identities and clarity are not that important because he just sees (and likes) her as the way she is. He acts like he don't know most of the time because he knows that her real identity would harm her if it gets public. Being Xue Li was tough for her. +I also think he waits for the time when she will confess everyting to him.
The directing, cinematography and scene switching is really great!! These are rare seen in c-dramas. I also like the female, she has a spirit, she is strong, very clever and hard to deceive (in her second life tho). Male lead somehow reminds me of Xie Wei from SOKP. Cant wait for their relationship development lol
If you forget that they are high schoolers and think it as a college drama then this is an ok one. But the lines and characters and plot... It felt like watching a child trying to wear her moms dress. But writernim told us they are 07liners lol too much american dream for a korean drama.
For the ones who hesitate to watch it because of teacher-student relationship, that is not the case in here. When she was tutoring him she treated him as her student, she had not any romantic feelings. 10 years later, she still doesn't have any romantic feelings altough they've met some time to time (on Teacher Days). He adored/liked her since then but there was nothing between them. And the age gap is 3-4, they can be lovers slowly now as 10 years passed and they have the same job. It is a slow burn.
If they put Ja Yoo's brain to Chae Won's head in season 2 this can be one of the craziest sci-fi's. But first we need a season 2 confirmation because last ep was screaming for one...
Ok, ML was once a firefighter (based on the orange outfit he wore at ep 2) that's why younger I-na asked him if he goes to save people at car scene. We know FL has a trauma about stove fire and she also has a savior. That savior most likely was Gwi Joo. Poor guy, he (and other family members) will be traumatized again after learning her real intention.
