Hello everyone! I saw beautiful comments under this so I am thinking of watching this. Since a lot of you mentioned how good the romance is, I have some questions, 1. Is this has reincarnation theme like they're going to meet each other in different lives? If yes, then will they remember each other on those lives? 2. Any annoying 2ML or 2FL? 3. Is FL smart? I hate to watch passive FL characters.. 4. Is ML soft or tough?
I haven't watched period c-dramas lately but this one caught my attention. Despite having a bad cgi quality, story is captivating enough and FL is very smart. ML already fell head over heels for her lol I love dramas where domineering MLs turn into teddy bears when they fell in love.
Whoever made the poster, you are damn right! Imagine having a face so hot that people doesn't need something else to put on with you on a poster lol face as an artpiece.
From the beginning I never thought Mae Hwa really killed Deok Su's father. When you watch the scene you can see DS's father holding the sword. I think he told her to protect his daughter while pretending to switch sides/betray him. Then he most likely pulled the sword over and killed himself. Just to make people believe that she betrayed her master.
DS's father's last words to her was "stay away from Yongcheonru". Mae Hwa still trying to keep that promise for her master and wants to push DS away from there. And the last of ep 8 was probably DS's dream.
what do they mean "she returns at the apex of her career"in the first episode itself she got fired twice
At the end of the first ep, 9 to 10 years have passed (the year was 2022). But the plot says she returns after 12 years so there will be 2 or 3 more years of Seoul life I guess. Main events start in present time.
Since I know Korean I watched the last episodes raw at first and couldn't notice the controversial parts. Then I went to x and saw people's tweets. I want to point out a few things.
First, translation is strange (they didn't translate the headline also). The news headline says "Izmael soldiers are taking Koreans as hostages". And in that map on the background the direction of attack indicated by the arrow is from Izmael to Paltima. News begin with Yu Ri's line "In Izmael where Paltima airstrikes continue" (this is the most accurate translate btw not the Netflix version). However, it is not clear here whether Izmael's attacks on Paltima continues or Paltima's attacks on Izmael continues. But if you think it with headline you can assume that Izmael is the one who attacks and takes hostages.
I think the translator may be done a biased translation. I hope they make an explanation. Still it is stupid to touch on such a sensitive subject. Last ep felt like a different show.
On the poster they wrote "The place where the desert and the sea meet and becomes a dream". They basically named this after world's oldest desert, Namib. It may be a metaphor also, star producer as a sea, unfortunate trainee as a desert. So that makes Ryeoun the Namib lol
THIS. This is the only 10/10 movie I will NEVER watch again. It was so heavy that I couldn't even cry... The fact that it is a real story makes it even harder to digest.
Ok, this was bad. Felt like a filler for S3. I didn't like the Season 1 that much but S1 was still fairly good. I felt bad for Saebyeok and others in S1 but in this season there was barely any emotion. Could've been written better they had so much time and so many talent and yet thet wasted it lol.
i'm confused about BSE dreaming about being drowned and his 'adoptive' mother caring about the psycho child, so…
I think the psycho is the real BSE and the biological son (not twin). ML and psycho are definitely not twins because psycho BSE's family locked him in the room all the time and probabably no one important saw his face since he put a mask on. They adopted a fake one and our male lead was a good option cause no one knows him (he lived in the rural).
They said one of the twins went lost. I think the other remaining twin is psychiatrist (SU) that explains why he searches the case. The lost twin may be dead but if he is not dead he must be Do Jae since he is the one who pushed HJ off the cliff. But I couldn't figure out Do Jae' motivation to hurt fake BSE (ML) yet.
