Loved reading this. I've missed a lot this year due to a lot happening in life so i'm going to use this as a guide to watch some good ones.
And to answer your questions - 1. How many 2023-release dramas did you watch? I watched 19 dramas that aired in 2023. I moved to a new country and barely had time for things i found happiness in as life was all about hustling haha.
2. What country did you watch the most in 2023? It was South Korea. Usually its a tie between South Korea and Thailand but since i barely had time, i mostly watched stuff on Netflix and there aren't many Thai ones i see there.
3. What genre(s) do you usually watch? My top genre is Drama followed by Romance (sigh), Thriller & Mystery.
4. What is your top drama listed in this article? TWINKLING WATERMELON! It rekindled my love for dramas again.
5. What is your top drama NOT listed in this article? Daily Dose of Sunshine. It was beautifully done and not only was i able to relate but i also discovered things that could help me and people around me if i were to encounter things seen in the drama.
6. How was your drama journey in 2023? Not my best year but I loved whatever i saw so that's a good thing. Need to catch up on many that I love (s2's) that i didnt get the time to watch.
7. What is your wish or plan in dramaland in 2024? I hope to see more and more thrillers and I hope i watch all the s2's ive been contemplating on and also dvelve into more xianxia's and wuxia's!
am I the only one who binged it and actually liked it?? I don’t get how one can expect people to act rational when they are literally in a game that involves death. the ending was abrupt though and I would accept it only if there’s a s2 going more in depth!
I think I became a part of the group and it felt like a journey for me as well. Beautifully acted and shot. Will be a really memorable few weeks of my life.
I'm in ep 7 and Ji young is annoying me. Is she actually good or does she cause some problem cause i am not in the mood for relationship problems even before they begin anything. Please tell me so that it will help me decide if i should watch or not.
I felt like this was a light and fun watch. Nothing too interesting but not boring either. Kind of like a drama you watch to just take your stress away by not being too immersed in it? Some characters could have had more depth I think.
I put this on hold many months ago, but returning to it was the best decision I ever made. A great Thriller of this year and it beats so many popular ones for me. I wish others would recognize this and watch too, especially thriller enthusiasts!
I'm glad that I made it a point to watch this. Absolutely beautiful and I love it. I could relate so much. I guess some find this boring and that's okay. This drama does depict a reality I know of so it was more liberating (the drama did its job for me lol) than dull. To each their own!
Honestly with the lack of thrillers in a while, i was happy to have received this drama in the suggestions. Wasnt bad, maybe could have been executed a little better. S2 is a must and you bet i'll be there to watch it!
I'll focus on the thriller part of it cause personally, I find SHK boring in romance (personal opinion. If yours differ it's okay. don't eat my head for it). I'll give it a go for Dohyun.
yes im disappointed with the ending but i have so many things that i loved and learnt throughout the drama which i'll be taking to heart and i'll leave the rest aside for the sake of the memory of warmth this drama never failed to give me from week too week
a guide to watch some good ones.
