I can kind of empathise with some of those characters because I myself am often considered 'naive', 'innocent'and 'way too nice for her own good'. Though usually that just makes the shock effect even greater when they realise that I can actually stand up (both physically and verbally) for myself or that I know more about sex than them. I feel a bit bad just thinking this but I find their expressions when I say "No" for the first time hilarious.
