I haven't really watched this drama but for the little that I saw yes both really have no chemistry on screen. Imo Son Ye Jin has a bitter chemistry with her partner in pretty noona.
Honestly I don’t specially ship them as a real couple but their chemistry on screen is much better than the CLOY couple. For what I saw the BinJin couple have no chemistry on screen imo. But still, they make a really good couple in really life

I don’t think SHS didn’t surgery. She look exactly the same of when she was in School 2013 and even when you look her old photos she is the same. I don't know what made you think that but maybe it's the fact that she changes her makeup style in each of her dramas.
It took me about a year to finish this drama. I started it because I had nothing to watch and I liked the lead actress but I end up being disappointed with her character.
It is a drama that I have followed without following. I liked the family side of the drama but I didn't appreciate the trailler ( especially at the end) and romantic side ( the romance was good but I just didn’t feel the chemistry).
The majority of the actors were good I even found that the supporting characters acted a lot better than the main characters. It's still a personal opinion but I didn't like Kang Ha Neul his acting.
In fact, I find it to be a drama that has lost some of its vibrancy as the episodes have progressed.
I didn’t like episode 7 . SHS was lying down during all the episode. Episode 8 was better but I feel like SHS screen time decreased this was so short imo . They give to much screen time to the secondary’ characters like kim kwan, byeon in... Also I don’t really care of the king is story tbh.
I hope they will return to the the palace. I miss lady choi and the royal kitchen chef. I worried because we have still 12 episodes and I feel like they try to filler they scenes with the the supporting cast. If it’s that, they should have made a 16 episodes drama...
